Oh my goodness, y’all have had quite the journey so far! Hopefully they will rest tonight and be ready to KILL IT tomorrow morning! Castle was a lot better the previous two years. This season is a bit of a yawner for me. And Center Grove is so fun to watch, and their guard is excellent, but they were a little messy musically today. Lots of room for Richland to jump in and grab a spot!

well. Homestead was great. Like Texas kind of great. But I'm not feeling the ones who have come after. OTOH, tune in at 7:15 (CST) and support Avon, our honorary Tex-Indiana cousins.

I can’t even fathom that they would schedule UIL the same days as the SA BOA super regional. Has that ever happened before? Granted, they are not related to one another at all, but surely they are aware of what a massive conflict it would be.

I don't know how many of the TXB people are watching, but there are some great bands competing at this super regional this weekend. And if you are watching, WOW HOMESTEAD! That was a fantastic performance!

Hopefully the director wasn't just trying to shame the kids! I can see using it as a learning tool, or even an incentive to get better, but it sure seems like a cruel way to go about it. And then not to even stay. Sounds like the director knew they sucked and didn't want to stay. But what kind of teaching is that? I don't know...

I think the love is because Round Rock has a long fantastic BOA history whereas Cedar Ridge and Hendrickson are much newer schools. Yes, Round Rock is struggling a bit this year, but with their long history of being a superb band program, we know that they will rise again!

The only decent looking day in the next week is Sunday which I'm sure they won't reschedule to. But if that is the only day that has decent weather, they better consider it!!!

My hubby and I plan to drive there next fall when Leander and TeamTexas goes back to Grand Nats but we are going to make a bit of a vacation out of it this time.
