    Fyi - It's McCallum from Austin. McCollum is a different 5A school in San Antonio.

    We had photos of the sheet from Prelims of the 6A State contest at the end of the day in 2018 on here. Nobody died, nobody was harmed. It wasn't taken down. I don't see a problem.

    Dripping Springs - 2335. May be moving up to 6A depending on how much the cutoff rises.

    Not exactly sure where to put this, but since 5A State is up first... Leander ISD has five bands going to State this week and next (thanks to the Covid-inspired all classes State year). If one more 5A band in Area H had received a 1 at Region, the number would be six. Has any district seen anything like this before? And how many medals will those five bands bring home? It will be fun to watch!

    Prohibitive favorite? There are so many great 6A bands I don't think there is any way to reasonably claim anybody to be such a strong favorite to win this contest.

    After seeing Vandy and Vista back-to-back, I don't see a clear winner. They were both amazing.
