I, personally, love all the instrument colors, when played well on concert horns. Marching horns is a different story. Have you ever heard a dying moose? I thought i had... but it was a mellophone.

He had been gone the day before that, and the band wasn't focused at their pre-UIL rehersal. Not all of this was the director's fault, believe me... so thus the UIL result. His little baby is so cute though!

Alright, could someone please explain to all us rookies on here about how the major competitions are scored? BOA, UIL stuff, what exactly IS ge. You know... all the stuff the people who have never marched before probably dont know.

Funny story... They had to move our homecoming game/dance because we will be getting evacuees from Rita soon. They only moved it one week ahead, and we have BOA Houston that weekend, and wouldnt have been able to go for two years in a row now. So our band directors called up the principal, and they changed the date of Homecoming. Just so the band could come to the dance. WOO HOO!

Cedar Park did that today.... Am I allowed to tell people that?
