I'd definitely say a mix. Also because the gold medal is up for grabs while last year it was pretty obvious no one was touching Flower Mound. Honestly I think this is much more exciting, I don't want San Antonio to be like St. Louis or Atlanta where its just seeing by how much the champion wins. Not to mention just getting into finals is crazier than ever. It's been said before but some REALLY good band s are not going to be in finals.

Just different opinions. While I don't always agree with the ranking system the format for scores is a godsend. I don't even look at the mfa recaps anymore.

Honesty the only thing Cedar Ridge and Haltom have a chance of doing is taking the music caption. Tarpon's guard and visual program is one of the strongest in the country and I think that'll keep them on top.

Agreed. Also not sure why growth of a band should be considered even if it might be true. That should only matter for their contest predictions. Why should a group beat another on week 3 for potential growth? If that is the case rank them accordingly when that time comes.

Because they won the last two years. When predicting without knowing much people tend to go off past results.
