It's still going to feel fairly dark and brooding, but at least 50% less murder-y than The Cutting Edge.

After Sweeney Todd last season, they've gone back to Sondheim with music from Into The Woods.  Which I think is great because I love Sondheim compositions.

Repertoire will include "Children Will Listen" from Into The Woods, and selections from a couple of Shostakovich symphonies, plus some original music from their usual arrangers/composers.

I've heard a rumor about what Leander's show theme will be.  Their show reveal is in a week I think, so I won't spill any tea here but if my source is correct, it sounds awesome and I think they can really do something special with it.  I'll be very excited to see their show.

Looks like East View HS just released their show theme last friday, seems pretty cool. Really thinking they could become a contender in the near future for Area D, # of members have nearly doubled since 2022.

With all the frisco schools revealing their shows, liberty just did theirs, I can't wait to see what Wakeland, Emerson and Reedy bring. Probably my most intrigued because Emerson had a really abstract show last year, Reedy gave me crown vibes, and Wakeland was just as glorious as Wakeland can be.
