yea last year was pretty good for WE but im a fan of the show, but something with half their staff kind of like dipping is a little unsettling, same reason why sachse was docked spots..

Last year definitely wasn’t good for us, it was our worst year since 2018 competitively lol (not counting 2020), this current program, including new EVERYTHING (with very good director changes, not a concern whatsoever), is an insane improvement

7th-12th is the real guess, as bands like Waxa, Prosper or LS could all possibly be top half. This is mainly going off this past weekend

LD Bell was probably my favorite show yesterday at HEB so I could see them doing a little better than people currently have them.

Bedford is easily one of the toughest competitions every year in terms of how early into the season the bands are versus which groups are competing. Very hard to predict which band(s) will squeeze their way into finals when there are these eleven bands participating which, unless by a very miniscule chance something goes horribly wrong during their run, are pretty much locks:

Aledo

Timber Creek

Flower Mound

L.D. Bell

Wakeland

Hebron

Lone Star

Waxahachie

Keller

 

I think the only saving grace the other bands have is that Southlake Carroll isn't sticking around for finals due to homecoming. My bet is on either Sachse or Wylie East for being the runner up that will get bumped into finals.

back to this: i think sachse will be pretty darn good as the season comes to a close, but the full show being dirty doesnt help things

Notes: Think Hebron has a state winning show, Flower Mound wins imo for BOA. Keller Central or Sachse could move into the 12 spot, but I agree with some stuff previously mentioned in this thread. Wakeland looks good, am going to take them above Coppell for now. 5 - 7 could all be up in the air, and Lone Star could move up into that grouping, but everything feels very close for Keller, Waxahachie, and TC. Unsure about Prosper, haven't seen anything.

A lot of interchangeably considering this is BOA we're talking about, and every competition, there's at least one placement that's a surprise to everyone. That placement could even end up being Wylie East or Sachse.

While I'm going with my gut that Hebron will probably win again, I know Flo-Mo isn't even close to being out of the picture for first place. They tend to trade blows at this particular contest, especially when it comes to captions. Similar deal with Wakeland, Coppell, and Prosper. Those three are very interchangeable.

Finals start at 7:15 with exhibition and end at 10:30. Two more exhibition slots at 10:45 and 11 if needed
