Nats already has a ton of Indiana bands that sign up with their mothers...

I'm pretty sure that Ronald Reagan would have won if they had a later time slot.

Our football team played Lufkin last year in the playoffs. It was pretty close heading into the 4th quarter. But anyways, its pretty amazing to watch them.

Only two texas bands have won Grand Nats: Spring (1993) and Westfield (2003). Indiana has had 5 title years (Carmel, Lawrence Central (twice), Center Grove, Chesterton). Illinois has had 8 (7 of them going to Marian Catholic , 1 to Lake Park). Florida has only one, J.M. Tate. Pennsylvania has 1, Norwin. North Carolina has 3 (all going to Rocky Mount in 83,84,86). Michagan has 3 (all going to PCEP) Ohio has 1, Centerville. Georgia has 2 (both going to Lassister). I'm pretty sure that distance has been an obstacle for Texas bands since most of them are allowed only 1 out-of-state trip per every 2 years. Most of them would rather go to the Midwest Clinic, National Concert Band Festival, Rose Bowl Parade, Disney, etc. in place of Grand Nats. I think that it is time for Texas to shine in the Grand National spotlight.

I am speaking hypothetically.

Who thinks that they should be moved to Texas for one year to allow for more participation of the bands and audience? I think that there would be a higher percentage of Texas bands to make finals.

DUDE, This would be a very stacked regular regional: Winston Churchill Ronald Reagan Cedar Park Owasso James Bowie SFA Brazoswood L.D Bell Westfield Spring Brazoswood, like I said, will not win music because some bands attending will have not peaked until Finals or at Nats (Brazoswood most definitely has). The reason I used Cedar Park as example is because they are known to peak very late in the season. So was Westfield during the Gieger years.

If you remember correctly, then you'll remember Cedar Park recieved fifth last year at BOA Houston. Also, Brazoswood did not win Outstanding Music at the BOA Houston Regional, Winston Churchill did.

Thank god this is your own opinion. Im not dissing your post but, 1)Marcus and Richland peaked at Arlington, 2) I've watched Cedar Park, and they are not definitely not a bubble band, let alone 11-14 material. If you remember correctly they were 4th at San Antonio Super Regional and 2nd at UIL state last year, and 3) Brazoswood will not win music. My opinion: 1-3:Winston Churchill, Ronald Reagan, Cedar Park 4-6:SFA, Bowie, Brazoswood 7-9:Richland, Marcus, Cy-Falls 10-12:Woodlands, Westfield, Spring 13-14:Haltom, The Colony
