I could agree with that, though the general consensus is that Tarpon Springs is on fire. I wouldn't be surprised if they were top 3.

Yea, not bad. Too bad my predictions on the site weren't as good. I did them a week before SA so I missed about three bands. Darn. Oh, well. All in good fun. It should be an incredible finals. No bands have any guarantees.

Here's who I have pegged for finals... Carmel Lawrence Central PCEP Churchill The Woodlands Marian Catholic Avon Broken Arrow Kennesaw Mountain Tarpon Springs LD Bell I just can't decide on the last slot. It's between about 10 bands. Lake Park, Walton, Centerville, Ben Davis, Castle, Bowie, Paul Laurence Dunbar, Louisville Male, Centerville, Center Grove. Geez, you can take the bands that don't make finals and have your own mini-GN and it'd still be an amazing competition.

LOL at second block. Geez, you could stick those eleven bands in finals and it'd be an INCREDIBLE finals event.

Well, seeing as how the DVD's don't come out for a while, you might need to wait a while before something that actually works comes out. Sure, you could take the audio off the online video from the BOA site, but, man, quality is horrible in those things.

Oh, I completely agree with Marcus winning. They sounded the best by far at Super Regionals. I even had them in first place in predictions. Woot for LISD!

I might be able to scrounge up an All-Region band recording of El Camino Real. I know that one of the 5A State bands played it last year, though. It's a heck of a lot of fun.

GEEZ do you know where the edit button is? Try not to post FOUR TIMES IN A ROW. Ok, first, you say you didn't want Bell to win because they're a "BOA" band and that you wanted Marcus to win state. Then what the heck do you call Marcus' show? Purely UIL? Therein lies one faulty point. You wanted a UIL band to win, yet it's easily apparent that Marcus used elaborate props in their show, while Bell had none, though Bell made extremely good use of their guard. Bell works on their show for two years? Really? Just because a band has a follow-up show doesn't mean they worked on the same stuff for two years. If you compared drill AND show music, you'll notice that nothing is recycled from Bell's last year show Ascension and The Remaining this year. Marcus, too, ended a trilogy this year. Two years ago, it was kind of an earthy theme with the large flowers. Last year was the air and birds. This year was the sea. Oh, but they only do well because they rehearse their stuf for two years!!!! /end sarcasm Get your facts straight, along with your beliefs before you try to argue. You obviously have no idea what you're talking about.

Haha GN DVD's won't be out for months. The same probably goes for Super Regional DVD's. Anyone who hasn't seen Bell or Marcus will have to wait a while. But, man, I really want to see PCEP and Avon this year, along with all the other GN bands. This year's Grand Nationals is a bloodbath. So many bands vying for top spot. Bell's gonna be on fire after state. Avon is doing super well at the moment with their win at the Indy Regoinal. Tarpon Springs dominated the Atlanta Regional. PCEP 4 pointed the second place band at Ypsilanti. Kennesaw Mountain is a young, incredibly talented band. Carmel is always in the hunt, and The Woodlands have an excellent BOA show. AH! I can't wait for Saturday night when they announce the placements.
