doesn't Hebron play the alma-mater as a warm up before the performance? That would be sad if that was their down fall. =[

I got a part of some contests results, but the text cut off at 8th place... uhmm... was it supposed to do that?

how would you get stuck with a penalty for warm ups? Would you just go over the alloted time, or was there a set of rules that had to be followed in the warm up area that they broke? and... does anybody know how Frisco High placed?

I think our drum line got 9th this past weekend... not sure. I'm still kind of clueless as to what's going on with them now.

well if Marcus' show has even half the visuals it did last year I can see the 80 thousand adding up. I mean... they had like 6 or 7 giant clam shells last year!

YAY! We're 1-5 NOW!!! (1-2 in district) we beat Mckinney North 42-10 on Friday! I think that moved us up 2 or 3 spots in the district rankings. Not sure though...

I'm not quite sure about Juan Seguin. Honestly, I think we can take top four now after our finals performance last night. And once we put our closer on the field (assuming we can nail it) I think top 3 is a very high possibility. I don't think any of the Area B bands except for us are attempting to march at 172-180. Boyd this year is doing a lot better. I think it's risky to be playing Down A Country Lane for their ballade (just like I feel Birdville's Grainger show is also a very risky idea). Boyd sounds much better than last year, but as for marching I can't say anything cus I haven't seen them from the stands.

Desoto dropped last minute. We were supposed to perform right after them, but they no showed, so we ended up performing about 10 minutes earlier than scheduled. And wasn't the 7th place band Robert E. Lee, not John Tyler? Both are from Tyler, TX but I thought it was E. Lee that made finals.

isn't keller a 4A band from area B? oh great...

I don't know... I think I placed Canton 2nd, but I'm starting to feel like they could take it very easily if they wanted to. And of course they want it!

I don't think they'll destroy us like they did my freshman year. Trust me, we're a completely different band now. But I do discredit any of the predictions automatically if they don't have Canton finishing AT LEAST top 3.

I'd pay. =] well, actually, I do have a limit. But it'd still be reallly really cool!

so we've finally added visuals to the 2nd mvmt. I was gone from practice when they did that, so I'll probably look SOO insanely lost tomorrow at the football game.

WE DON"T HAVE ANY HOLES THIS TIME AROUND! well we probably will, because of people freaking missing practices... but outside of that, nobody who failed!

they did an "in flight movie" sort of thing, and started playing Pirates of the Carribean, and the band made a bunch of circles around one girl who had been acting like a pirate. She threw the saber literallly like... 15 feet up, and the purposely dropped and missed it. The whole band like slapped their heads and was like "OH!" but then they had a "flight attendant" who said Immediatly after "Wanna get away?" hah. I loved it!

woh! they moved the "general off topic section"!!! It completely threw me off!

I'm not quite sure who's in Area A... I believe Fossil Ridge is. And if they are, they're on my list to make it.

nobody had been skeptical of wakeland. the only person who did was somebody who went there. That's their own personal opinion. I think they'll do very well. I'm curious to see how the place against Liberty though.
