it was a nice day today, but still on the chilly side. At least it wasn't emo-looking out side w/ all the clouds. It helped make my school day just a little more enjoyable.

I'd volunteer to take you on the bus, but I'm not quite sure our director would let that fly.

sorry, had to bring this topic back up cus of today's random freezingness... it was PERFECT weather this weekend and now I think I could freeze a bottle of water outside if I wanted to.

that'd be awesome if you did! Our assistant director's parents are flying out from St. Louis to come and watch us at area. and if we make state, her sister may come and bring her niece and nephew.

...which would be our cross-town band. #1 bright and early. I'm glad we're going so late! Saturday is going to be one amazing contest. I'm looking forward to it. =]

yah, our synth doubles the parts on the low reeds 90% of the time in our closer because there's a lot of important stuff they have that you will never hear because there's only 4 of them on the field. I'm not quite sure about electronics overall. I have always wanted to see a band do Shostakovich's Eighth String Quartet with an Electric String Quartet playing the music though... THAT'D BE FREAKING INSANE!

Oh my god! I had you guys placing 4th or 5th easily at Area. This is way more shocking than Mckinney's results. I'm really sorry to hear what happened. Your support is greatly welcomed and appreciated though!

I'm hoping that 5 can make it. After all, we have 31 bands, and I think of those 31 that have already had region, 20 have made 1's... all we need is 5 more!!!

Yah, it's not going to be at PHP. It's still at memorial And uhm... what else? OH YAH! Pizza! One of the kids in band's dad owns Double Dave's Pizza... so that's what we're serving. I got to sample the pizza today. =]

I just hafta say that I must congratulate all the region 24 bands for having each one make straight ones! That's AWESOME! Special recognition goes out to Little Elm and Lake Dallas! Little Elm for their first one in 4A and Lake Dallas for the first one in almost 3 or 4 years!!

gosh, I"m going to have a heart attack... and we don't perform for another 6 hours.

blegh.. we just lost to our cross town rival, Frisco High 55-14. so now we're 1-6 overall and 1-3 in district

and TCU played almost exactly the same arrangement. a few minor differences, but the drill was almost the same (minus the woodwinds) and the drumline and guard work were identical as well.
