last concert on thursday and we're going to record black horse troop march before we start, and then we'll record florentiner and 1st suite in eb and then play slavakasna (can't pronounce) 3rd mvt ( the one w/ all the runs throughout the whole piece for clarinets) and Ride

i am 99% sure we are in region 5 b/c I know our director said June 6th today but he doesn't want any of us to go so he didn't tell us where it's at. anyways i don't even think he'll be there himself b/c he's leaving for the cadets on friday oh yeah xenon where would u be at for region, i would love if u come listen to our recording and see if u can guess which one it is shouldn't be difficult it is in 3A after all

wow, 2-8 amazing. I think moving up to 4A we can go 7-3, and make the playoffs

we're having about 30, so I'm really excited, and our show is really starting to come together, can't wait

we played the first 2 parts today, it's awesome

not going to lie, we're coming after u guys next year, we fell like we can compete with u guys it'll be interesting to see, but I don't know if we're having any contests against u guys

I go to Wakeland your competition, I still remember when u just destroyed us in marching band last year, and at the time we were still playing grade 3 , now we're going 4's and 5's, yeah for the murchinson concert we're going florentiner, 1st holst, and apollo. and dang u guys some playing some tough stuff good luck w/ that, and may the best band win in july

we got up to 200 total now, maybe a few more to join soon, it's going to be fun

we found out our 3rd drum major today, it's a pretty cool soph. flute player. she definately was the best that tried out, I'm quite happy for her she's going to be great for the next 3 years

since we're moving up to 4A we'll only have like 4 total 2 preuil and 1 post

OMG don't get me started on drum major tryouts it's almost all future soph. the problem I have is that none of them are leader material, and some are frankly too quiet, and it's just that it doesn't work out. I really think we need future senior to do it b/c we have too many soph. that have no rank in the band trying out, not trying to be mean but I really don't know

I'm the gamebreaker in our band, the Percy Harvin/Reggie Bush combo. I mainly play WR/CB/KR. Off course, as I'm rather small not the best tackler but what the heck it's all fun. oh yeah, I run 4.55 40 yard dash

that's a shame, but oh well yeah let's get rid of Howard not b/c I don't like him but he underachieves in playoffs and his comments about smoking marijuna in offseason is dumb(I bet he's doing it right now) and yeah the only person I like to keep is Brandon Bass, the only person who was any good for the Mavs throughout the series.

Ahhh, I love the tube mutes it's awesome, oh yeah we have hired a 3rd director I think we're going to be the only Frisco school to have 3, it's some women that we don't know yet. And for band trip we won almost every award, although big suprise was jazz band beat top band for overalll first place

but your a senior, right? for us we have a lot of future sophomores that want to try out

i wouldn't want a whole show, but still I mean I guess it's doable, I have marched 3 years now, but problem is we have 75 out of 150 winds that are freshman, so not happening

Apollo Unleashed I'm not going only b/c I have a couple AP practice tests I need to take to be fully prepared. Then we'll have a contest at Murchinson in mid-May w/ using Florentiner march, and adding Ride for our spring concert

All right we got straight ones, I know that doesn't mean much, but it was pretty good. Apparently the director at The Colony, Frisco, Centennial, Lake Dallas, Argyle, Canton, Wills Point, and one of our sightreading judge Whitesboro, all attended the concert. It was funny b/c we had warmup on stage b/c right after lunch, and when he looked at the crowd he saw all these directors and had that deer in the headlights look. It was all good though, we really hope to win honor band. Anyways on that note, we are thinking of bringing back 2nd suite in F, and add a harder march
