yeah for me that's the only time i see them so i was happy, but yeah i can understand seeing a band so often is kinda dull

i see in area b there will only be 4 this year, so I say Whitesboro might get left out this year

so today i got to hear a little of our show next year, hard to believe the seasons not yet over and the directors are already cranking it up for next year

i've watched bits of both show, and though my knowledge is incomplete argyle is marching harder drill and are much cleaner. i say they have a great chance to dethrone canton

yeah, one thing that made us mad was when we were trying to desperately get off the met. for our first game, and at times their are huge issues we still didn't use the met, however the other band was cranking out their metronome full blast and it was annoying and frankly it overpowered the band itself, so yeah not huge on that

i saw hebron at uil this weekend and i got to admit i was shocked at how clean they were, no wonder they did so well this year

i know it would be an awesome closer although it depends on what parts u play, anyways we are going to work out butts of to try to sneak in that top 5. we still have a score to settle w/ the colony after the little elm contest, and we really want to be competitive w/ poteet, sherman, and dripping springs as our mindset now is all geared toward state marching contest next year(even though not going to be here), and on a side note i don't know when's the next time we'll go to this contest b/c we'll be doing BOA Arlington and San Antonio next year

did u not see our show, man i'm disappointed, although i'm sure u would have liked it

yeah u have to count on bands that haven't done it before, so the odds aren't in ur favor

there are 6 more bands that got 1s last year, so that puts the number at 18 with 2 more needing to get it. I think Grand Prairie and Cedar Hill are the two bands that must get 1's to make 20

thanks, i know some of us our disappointed, but for me personally hearing people like your show far outweighs the awards

we've actually had an interesting year a couple of injuries and originally we had these leaves that everyone kept falling over on during backward march, but we took them out now so it'll be fine

^ that gets me on how much i hate area scoring. i mean one judge could be scoring really high and if u happen to be in 10th in his group then u are kinda sunk

*sigh* if this just wasn't all the way in Hurst, i would so go

I agree, I saw some of their show last week and they had some tough drill moves in their show

don't know about finals but rowlett won by a big margin in prelims

I think they have a real nice thing going on, but they need to play much louder, but yeah they also have awesome colorguard costumes and it seems like a really fun show

true they should have it like TMEA areas that way a few more of these bands will get in

darn i was hoping it was in Carollton, oh well. I get to see Grapevine, Hebron, Colleyville, Lewisville, Carroll, Marcus, Flower Mound, and Creekview all at region so i'm really excited

yeah i agree those are without doubts top 5 bands here with us making the 5th in some order. anyways sorry about u guys getting 9th yesterday, i for one liked it

u know i'm pretty sure there will be 5 so i'll take LD Bell, Marcus, Richland, Haltom, and Hebron w/ Wylie and Colleyville Heritage as my alternates although i would never want to compete at this, btw where's the competition at?

great job guys i know how it feels to get some recongition especially as a new school. we are only in our 3rd year, and yesterday we won our first pretty big marching contest so it feels great, but yeah it's important for us not to get cocky and go out and perform better next week

they did mesquite in the morning so they could also do BOA, they probably didn't win here b/c they were the first band to perform, although still props to Rowlett for winning
