YEP! One of my friends just texted me! Super excited for them, maybe I’ll go to GN twice depending on who attends 🤷‍♀️

Later than I thought it would be, is this because of Grand Nationals being a week later or no?

I really want the Leander, Rouse, and Cedar Park to go to GN! It would be so cool to actually be able to see Leander make the return while Cedar Park (maybe their first, I don’t remember) and Rouse (first time) also attend! I know Wylie is confirmed for GN, and maybe Friendswood based off what I’ve been hearing, but I can’t wait to see who else goes! As for my eventual alma mater, Forney, it’s definitely happening in a few years. I can’t wait for the eventual trip I’ll be making to see them!

Forney is planning it, it’s not likely to be next year from what I’ve been made aware of, but… it’s sometime in a few years.

Thank you! I’m really bummed I won’t march when Forney does go, but I’ll try and make the trip to Indianapolis to see them.

Here’s something for Forney that I posted on the Grand Nationals Forum: It’s happening within the next few years, the directors are planning it.

I’m hoping Forney will go, and I’ll be there as a spectator cheering. It hurts a lot that my experience is over, but I hope they can continue to get better and better. I know last years seniors were telling me, “We leave for one year, and y’all took 4th in state.” It made me teary eyed.

Friendswood is raising money to make the trip apparently. Idk if it’s confirmed, but that’s what someone told me.

I’ve said this already, but only way I am heading to Indianapolis is when Forney makes the trip. All I can say in regards to Forney heading to Grand Nationals is that it’s coming soon. I hope it’s by time I finish my undergrad and head to Law School because then the trip will be less expensive (hopefully 😭).

I’m so proud of every band, and I will definitely miss performing, but I’ll try to make as many comps as I can (and also my wallet). Thank you guys for making my last marching season so magical, thank you all for the kind words, and I wish everyone here the best. I’m mad about this too. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy for Blue Springs, but I just didn’t see a universe where they placed higher than TW.

Hebron got hurt by the visual aspect, with higher placements going to Blue Springs and The Woodlands. Goes to show how one placement in a category can make or break a placement.

Bowie 13th, CTJ 14th, and DS 15th… TEXAS IS ON ANOTHER LEVEL 😭

Completely unrelated note, but… Forney is planning a Grand Nationals trip sometime in the next few years. When I find out, you best believe I will fly to Indianapolis. Something to look forward to in the future. 😉

I am glad! I hope she’ll be alright, needs a lot of rest in between the finals performance time.

I’m heartbroken, but they represented Texas with grace. I hope they will come back next season stronger.
