Confirming that Forney is attending TMC instead of Prosper. I am actually excited for this! I can’t wait to see how they do!

I’ve mentioned this before, but Forney is planning a Grand Nats trip for sometime in the near future. I feel like they’ll do good, and hopefully secure a spot in finals (one could hope, I am hoping).

I am so happy for this show and I know it’ll be wonderful! I may not be marching, but please show love to my soon to be alma mater next season!

Forney’s is being revealed at Band Banquet on May 4th, I’ll post it once it gets announced!

It is! Also, forney is likely not going to Waco unfortunately. I tried but the schedule was planned for a reason 😭

Forney is possibly considering dropping this competition for Texas Marching Classic. I was told this last week, and I finally got permission to share the information with yall! I don’t know much about the final decision because our director is still deciding.

Waxahachie coming back is very very nice! I do agree with your predictions, but only time will tell what the programs next year shape out to be. (I will say I did know about the new area two months in advance).

haha yeah! both forney and north forney are now which will leave a lot more competition in my town, and I cannot wait for the return of our rivalry!

I do believe this to be likely knowing Cedar Park. This year’s show is likely to be amazing because of Grand Nats, but I am hoping eventually someone pulls through. Also for Leander, I do know their show will probably be amazing, and they’ll probably be 3rd/4th this year. That’s the only prediction I am making.

OH YEAH! I am hoping Argyle pulls through if TS doesn’t show up.

I’m gonna be following this forum closely along with 6A forums for Forney. I am genuinely excited for what the aftermath of last season will bode for these bands! I just know every band will be better and stronger 💪

happy for them! I genuinely cannot wait to see them on box5! also, how do boa classifications work? I’ve seen some 6As end up as 3As in boa and 5As as 2A (Argyle & Grapevine), is there a way they calculate?

I AM HAPPY! Is Argyle the first AA for Texas or am I mistaken? I am just so used to seeing AAAs and AAAAs 😭.

I do agree with this, but it doesn’t change the fact this area needs MAJOR rework. Not fair to have 1-2 strong programs vs the several at Area B

Lol thanks, I’ll be sure to inform him also as for me, I am just some random high schooler who attends school in the “small” town in Forney. How I ended up here I’ll never know, but I am attending UNT next fall with a major in political science (idk what my minor will be, prolly music).

From what I was made aware of, They certainly are changing stuff as I mentioned yesterday. I was extremely curious so I asked my director and that’s when he told me what I am making you aware of. (he also asked me who you were since he sees you alot, mainly on the forums im assuming to supervise my school’s kids)

Again take what I say with a grain of salt, the conversation was around 10 minutes long with several people jumping in as well, but I do believe that’s what will likely happen.

I do believe you’re right, but really I don’t know. Also, rezoning is at the end of March, and they will be balancing the areas out. I asked my director about this just now, and he told me that he did talk to the people who do the areas and such about this. What may likely happen is some area B schools would come over to this area. As for 6A, I don’t know the details about that. I just know some details that I am probably going to have to withhold.
