I’m watching results on YouTube after watching these semi finals from that drive because free is always better. GL to everyone!

I am so proud of every Texas school. the school I’m most proud of is Keller. I had talked to a few of them at full retreat in Prosper, and they had so much passion for their show. They genuinely wanted to advance to finals in Grand Nationals, and I believe they are a lock for finals. Really really proud of you guys at Keller. 💙

exactly! We have to work for that! that’s what frustrates me, I used to think that schools did that until this year when I realized that. wish I had realized this sooner.

we raised 70k through marchaton and have also used all the money from concession stands and other fundraisers to make these shows possible.

Late reply, but after our finals run; every single senior was crying their eyes out, myself included. We cried long enough that flutes and clarinets couldn’t take their instruments back to the bus, so we had to bring them to full retreat.

Time to beg my sister to buy me GN semifinals and finals so I can watch on Box5

I know CTJ is crying rn because of that time. I feel for them, I cried when we even got a 9 am performance time.

Forney raises their own money for shows because the funding we get is not so great. Most the money we get is from these fundraisers and we put the money towards making the season happen (uniforms, food, transportation, etc). What makes Forney Forney is the band program itself. We almost never talk about results, and the directors have instilled a you reap what you sow mindset into us. Also, Forney starts kids as early as 6th grade, and that’s why we have so many joining as well is because of this success. Ultimately, it’s not just money, it’s what you do with the program that gets you to where you are.

LETS GO! I am so glad that we got 4th, we didn’t expect it, but as i have said all season, all shocks are welcome. Congrats to Leander though! I love their show so much, and i hope they have a revenge season next year.

Also Forney had the same trend before it was broken i believe this year. Congrats again!

Oh be still my heart! I am so proud of everyone who made it to finals. I am extremely happy and proud of Forney! This has been an incredible season for us! I am glad that this is the end of the road for me, I wouldn’t have it any other way. @tennertrumbow @SaxA41 @BandKid_2 @krustyjoe: i am so beyond proud of you guys. i hope you take this comp and continue to grow. now then, ill still be active here and try to make comps. i love you all so much, and i’ll always miss this experience. - Kai
