  4. QUOTE (actualgirltrombone @ Aug 19 2006, 04:18 PM) I don't really have extensive reviews, but I really like LD Bell 2002 and 2003. Everyone I've talked to at my school thinks I'm insane for liking these shows and I don't understand why. Binary Systems is #8 on my top played list on iTunes... IDK if those shows would count as overlooked per se, but they certainly are where I live. Amen on L.D. Bell 2002. I still can't believe Carmel won the San Antonio Regional that year. Great visual design but their music performance was horrible.
  5. It's about dang time MTV puts MUSIC on their network....... /slight sarcasm
  6. Cedar Park has done very well at the BOA Texas Regionals over the years. As for Grand Nationals, they have yet to attend. Visit the BOA website @ http://www.bands.org for more info.

  8. QUOTE (TX Suh-nare @ Aug 16 2006, 10:03 AM) Don't count PR out of a championship just yet. Look at their history over the past few years 2003-5th 2004-4th 2005-3rd 2006-2nd Just for clarification.... Phantom was 4th in 2003 and 5th in 2004.
  9. QUOTE (Fortisimo @ Aug 14 2006, 10:28 PM) Can a corps just decide to have more members and move up a division? A little off topic, sure, but I'm curious. Corps that want to move up to Division I have to be reviewed by the DCI Advisory Board. Corps have to be financially stable if they want to move up.
  10. QUOTE (actualgirltrombone @ Aug 12 2006, 11:07 PM) PHANTOMMMMM!!!!!! Vanguard? =( Nonetheless, what a year for SCV. Go Phantom! And congrats to the Cavaliers on their fifth title since 2000. QUOTE (actualgirltrombone @ Aug 12 2006, 11:07 PM) Haha thanks for posting this, dci.org's server is flooded beyond belief. No prob.

  12. QUOTE (Trumpet Master @ Aug 12 2006, 09:50 AM) DOes anybody know if they are streaming finals today? No. DCI did stream Semifinals live last night.
  13. QUOTE (EODrillDesigner98 @ Aug 11 2006, 02:32 AM) That is nothing new. I actually knew that for a couple of long now. of months?
  14. QUOTE (whitewing09 @ Aug 10 2006, 12:14 PM) Isnt it shared by a butt load of schools Cyfalls Cycreek Langham creek etc Yeah, the Berry Center is the second stadium in the Cypress Falls Independent School District and is shared by all of their high schools. Cypress Creek Cypress Fair Cypress Falls Cypress Ridge Cypress Springs Jersey Village Langham Creek
  15. If there wasn't a football game going on at Berry Stadium on October 14th, I'm fairly certain that the BOA Houston Regional would have been held there. How awesome would that be?? Still happy that the Houston Regional is in Pearland since I live right down the highway! They have a very nice facility as well.
  16. QUOTE (EODrillDesigner98 @ Aug 9 2006, 03:22 AM) Does anyone know where I can download Academy Show? APD's are available on DCI's website. http://www.dci.org
  17. Yeah, Dan and I saw the Academy in California a couple of months ago..... We couldn't believe what we were hearing. Currently listening to their APD right now..... *joy*
  18. QUOTE (G'townPIT @ Aug 6 2006, 10:57 PM) They (BD and Cavies) were at different competitons with different judges. I'm not going to think much of it. Thank you.
  19. QUOTE (Xenon @ Aug 3 2006, 07:42 AM) For 2006, BOA Super Regional's will have the Finals shot in High Cam only. They really should put both angles in, but I'm not complaining because I only want the High Cam anyways. Unless, I'm reading wrong... It says that BOA Regional & Super Regional Finals will be shot in multi angle only. 3rd & 4th one down in the left column. http://www.mrvideoonline.com/boa.htm It would be really weird if Finals were shot in high cam only.
  20. QUOTE (Aegis Fang @ Aug 3 2006, 10:28 PM) why hasn't phantom had a score in the last few days? how many days have they taken off now? at least two... Phantom Regiment performed on Tuesday. http://www.dci.org/scores/recap.cfm?event_...7d-e07d182a2433
  21. Inflation?? Cavaliers gained .60 since last night The Cadets lost .15 since last night Carolina Crown gained 1.60 since Monday Madison Scouts lost .10 since Tuesday Scores are pretty much the same at this time last year as well.....
  22. VANGUARD!!!! Wow, what a surge by SCV. 5 point+ since the Atlanta Regional and now within striking distance of The Cadets & Bluecoats. Hopefully they keep it up! This is exciting.
  23. QUOTE (springbassliner26 @ Aug 2 2006, 11:03 PM) Spring is, unless something changed, and as for Westfield...I don't know. Spring has yet to register for a single BOA Texas Regional....you guys are going, right?? Gosh, I hope so.
  24. People underestimate Pacific Crest. Out of the non top 12 corps...they are one of the better ones musically. Saw them in Cali and they can flat out play.
