So, and while it's still not confirmed by UIL, Wylie East has the site for this contest on their calendar at the Mckinney ISD Stadium. Obviously where it will be held is where it says via the area site but still a possibility regardless.

Its starting to look that way. Heritage definitely has a very strong shot at finals, and hopefully have a better season, as they were on the rise pre-covid, but haven't been as strong since, so hopefully they make a comeback this season, really loved their 2017 production.

This contest has shaped up so absolutely amazing, I can’t wait!! Dropping final early season predictions, pretty much based on last couple of years: Small School: 1st: Celina 2nd: Sulphur Springs 3rd: China Springs 4th: North Lamar 5th: Canton Large School: 1st: Lonestar 2nd: Rockhill 3rd: Lebanon Trail 4th: Argyle 5th: McKinney 6th: Independence 7th: Lovejoy 8th: Lake Highlands 9th: Lakeview Centennial 10th: James Martin 11th: Memorial 12th: North Forney This comp is one of those that the bands that have stronger preseasons will place better. Celina is really the only small division school I see possibly being in the top 12, but I’d say probably 13th overall. Some big uncertainties, James Martin with a big struggle year last season with the new director but is definitely a contender for a top spot, big battle between Rockhill and Lonestar, some other programs with a new look last year. Will Canton jump back up in 4A, tons of crazy things can happen, but it will be really fun to see how thighs shake out!

I didn’t even notice this lol 😂 Well yeah I’d give them the win currently as well then, though obviously it depends on how each group in this season, but I’m happy some of the other groups in area B that have been a few out of finals are starting to rise up post-Covid

I personally think currently this will go to Fossil Ridge, but I could definitely see NC take it. FR has had their two best seasons these past two, and only see them getting better, however NC also had a great season last year, so I could see it being close between the two

it would be super cool if for a football game or something they did a collab, and this is another show, especially after the year they had last season that I'm super excited for, I feel like we have a lot more lively and colorful shows (literally) this season!

I feel like this will be Lost and Found pt 2, super excited! We are seeing a lot of really good show themes this year so far!!

I know they are gonna cook something awesome with this!!

I'm so freaking excited for Vandergrift's show!! It feels like something more "alive" and modern almost, not that I hated their past show concepts, but it seems like a step, possibly with the new director change, in a new direction and I'm super excited to see this show!!

I decided to peep the scores and Avon….Jesus Also congrats to TW’s on the bronze medal 🥉 🥳🥳🥳 and also to Marcus, JB and Westlake in SO! I don’t think I’ll have time tomorrow to rewatch the broadcast unfortunately, but congrats to all the guards on an incredible season!!!

I feel like this show theme has became popular out of no where, there were like 3 or so DFW bands that did it last season lol, but this seems like a different take, super excited!

Went back to watch Carmel-Avon, TW’s were much cleaner as everyone had been saying, 1st time seeing Tarpon and there’s just so much going on, some times a bit to much, Carmel was much better, LOVE Arcadia, and Avon was just Avon

TW’s still in 3rd and up in score by a couple points!! I might have slept through my alarms for SW, but they seem to be holding their ground, hoping for a no-drop run tomorrow night! And Azle/Grand Oaks still looking strong as well!

Thx for this, just got off work lol! Super happy for everyone who made semis, and for those that didn’t, thanks for an incredible season!! Azle was 🔥 today, should hopefully take a meal. SO is SUPER close at the top, it’s honestly anyone’s game. As far as TW’s, I don’t seem the dropping and think their score and hopefully placements will improve. I haven’t checked the schedule but hopefully can watch a good amount tomorrow!

Also Grand Oaks with an 89 and Wylie with an 86 in SA, so Azle in top for team Tx rn, but some strong showings over there!

The Woodlands.... OH. MY. GOD!!!! I might be crazy and get cancelled for saying this lol, but I feel like they are just as good as Avon, and I think have a chance of winning. Other than a couple uncharacteristic drops at the start, it was flawless. I never seen a show with so many tosses, it's actually insane, idk I really think they have a chance, but I feel like Avon's GE is to good to be beaten, but we'll see! But yeah, TW'S were amazing, was jaw-dropped the whole time
