  1. GE is essentially content / design so there is a similar caption present, admittedly not weighted similarly but it’s in the same vain.
  2. Leander! Love to see them coming back into the scene after a rough year last year.
  3. I know one band on the competitive circuit that could afford to learn the lesson that boom mics don’t mean anything with poor technique, but alas.
  4. Definitely an overlooked aspect. Regardless of placement, getting a feel for the Alamodome and procedural things regardless of slight differences in UIL and BOA procedures can be really helpful for easing nerves. I don’t think it’ll make a huge or giant difference, but it’ll be noticeable in the way groups carry themselves.

  6. Not a bad season ending for Vista Ridge and Ronald Reagan, standing strong in the face of some of the strongest shows we’ve seen in years.
  7. The Marcus and L.D. Bell resurgences are just the greatest.
  8. You underestimate how expensive a grand nationals trip is. Feels weird to mention that they (probably have the funding)
  9. A great day! Reagan caps it off and then we're back and bright early.
  10. Sound was a little harsh for Westlake, not sure if it was just the stream but they just sounded a little rougher than usual. A few stickouts and a few early players especially in the ballad. Not sure we'll see them in finals, but a lovely offering from them as always. Loved the staging, design and theming though.
  11. Nervous for Cedar Park. That 1st performance time is not easy for any band.
  12. Realistically I think Vandegrift has long pulled far away from Rouse on all fronts, but it’ll be nice to see both of them under the dome.
  13. I’ve been saying….I love Rouse to death but Cedar Park is not going to surrender their title easily.
  14. I think Pearland is with Cartwright. I don’t know the rest. I think Keller might be arranged by Chambers? I don’t know whether they still work with her or not.
  15. Saying “No Offense” doesn’t make your comment any less offensive.
  16. 14th - Keller 13 - Round Rock 12 - Waxahachie 11 - Cy-Fair 10 - Bridgeland 9 - Pearland 8 - Coppell 7 - Ronald Reagan 6 - The Woodlands 5 - Vista Ridge 4 - Flower Mound 3 - Hebron 2 - Marcus 1 - Vandegrift (2x)
  17. The live blog might be the best bet! The forums lagging a little because of the amount of people accessing it.
  18. Vista Ridge was my favorite show of the night, but I’m not thinking the judges are going to reward the amount of visual dirt in their product.
