  1. It's not based on guard numbers, it's based on the individual marchers and guard members, and the consistency and quality of their individual marching or choreo, rather than the large scale image being created. Also, it's alright to not like a show, but it does feel kinda sour grapey to have this be one of the first things you say after results come out. I'm not even a percussionist and I can see why CRs drumline got first, they're precise in their playing, and play unique and hard stuff very well. (not to say other programs don't, I just find CR drumline writing to be unique)
  2. It was more like a blessing.
  3. Can't put into words how stoked my whole section was for Cedar Ridge. The band mom in front of me was in full tears, and I can't even blame her. What a moment for them!
  4. Uhhh I don't think Reagan is gonna fit in the space they were given
  5. Some would say that. Maybe not me personally, but some would.
  6. Was Cedar Ridge streamed? The screen never cut to the stream in the stadium.
  7. I mean personally I thought Waxahachie was pretty good....
  8. (psst go to the last page)
  9. 😔 understandable (dms are open though if you're feeling particularly dishonest)
  10. Same here, I'd love to see
  11. Does this mean Cedar Ridge won percussion?
  12. Looks like the top half bottom half split was true, if the draw list is to be believed.
  13. Slightly less musically consistent run from Hebron today, but still unbelievable to watch in person!
  14. Timber Creek sax soloist has a killer beard
  15. I thought having such a quick turnaround between BOA and UIL would cause a little bit of fatigue, but both Cedar Ridge and CTJ just had their best runs of the season, absolutely stellar runs. (I'm sorry for leaving out other bands, I missed them) (sidenote: I've never seen someone lose a shoe mid performance but it happened in CTJs run lmao)
  16. Oh my god I hadn't realized Cedar Ridge was that much smaller
  17. Woodlands showing BD what a Tank! arrangement should sound like!
  18. Lost my voice cheering for Cedar Ridge
  19. Maybe this is just my opinion, but it is kinda interesting that I had looked at this year as maybe a changing of the guard in the finalist sphere, but things seem to be very similar to usual.
  20. I wonder if we're gonna see any movement between the two halfs, or if it's more set in stone.
  21. Not sure how I feel about Flower Mound this year. I'm supposed to believe the mighty heroes at FloMo would see villains in their midst and not immediately take them out? But instead have a woodwind feature with them? Unfathomable. I'm kidding, that was my favorite show of the day, hands down! Fun, creative, and full of commitment from the students!
