a new super regional in Texas - - that would rock!!! - or do they split out the competition to 2 separate dates Conroe and Katy. not sure that would work as the season is already short, but great to see that much interest that they cannot meet the demand. in the 9 years I have been following BOA in Texas, we have seen the addition of Austin (most competitive regional in the state), McAllen and Midland - keep going - TXbands rock

some of the programs outside of Texas have JV guards that start in Middle School - where from what I have seen in Texas - there is no introduction to guard until they enter High School. that in itself would increase the quality of Texas guards

this would have made more sense to me if we gave every program that has made the finals the same score (10 or 15 or whatever) but this gives an advantage to programs that have been around longer - some of these schools have a 50 year history and some have less than 10 year history
