I wish we could all crowdfund to send one of these bands to the San Antonio super or even nationals. The nation has to see the depth of talent even our smallest bands have!

If you haven't been following along, the drum major for Water Valley, that played trumpet for the show and then a soprano sax solo, WROTE THE WHOLE SHOW. If the recording gets posted anywhere, go listen to the interview. Pretty sure this kid can get a full-ride with any music program he wants.

That’s insane!!! The talent for a high schooler to be able to do that is unreal, will definitely be checking it out!

Great showing from the 1A bands today! Today was a good reminder of how strong the bands in texas are regardless of class! Good luck to all bands that participated.

This was a fun contest to watch. These bands are so clever with how they get it done with so few people! Props to all the finalists!
