Who is your "dark horse" band for 2025?

If I had to assume I would say they meant as state champ dark horses. Considering Cedar Park has been on a generational run and Celina is locked in lol.

I can see Fossil Ridge sneakily earning a state spot in Area F or at least being competitive.  They've been under the radar as they are new to 5A.  That being said, I haven't seen their show so this isn't me commenting on it or anything.  I highly doubt they would be ahead of Aledo or Burleson Centennial, but they could be right in the mix with Azle, Birdville, and Richland.  Maybe Grapevine.  I'm not entirely counting Colleyville Heritage out either.

I was a band dad when Reid was at Vista Ridge. Watching him run a rehearsal was amazing. He brings so much positive energy to the table and really knows how to get the most out of the kids. Any band would be lucky to get his input.

Jordan. They beat 7L (a state finalist band) at KMF got 8th at boa san marcos, and beat clear brook and lakes
