They had a rain delay right when Keller was ready to begin, with 3 bands ledt to perform...Keller, Grand Prairie and Arlington Bowie.  Prelims were postponed till 6:30.  FINALS TBD

They announced after the delay that finals would start at 9:30, left for dinner before I heard results!

2nd contest where LD Bell wins prelims and then gets 2nd in finals. Although, no judge had them first in finals. The top 3 was verrrry close. Usually Coppell is more dominant.

The top 3 were all super close.  And the scores seem a bit interesting.  Were all of the judges judging something different or are the two visual judges for instance judging the same thing?

This is kinda odd…. Apparently Sam Houston beat lake ridge in woodwinds, Sgp brass got 13? I can’t say I’m 100 percent understanding this prelim judging….

State finals is definitely in the cards for them, especially seeing how cedar ridge did after bell beat them in Waco prelims last week

Yea there was very questionable judging this year, even in finals. I'm gonna blame it on the new judging format however some of these scores are so so wrong

I liked Lake Ridge, I thought they performed better than Haltom and should've made finals over them.
