Want that Flower Mound show to win so bad 😭 a good run for sure, but they’ll need a little more energy tomorrow if they’re going to be a threat to take the gold!

flomo was fab!! the back half of the show esp has some really spectacular moments. not sure it'll top avon yet. think avon's might be a lil more compelling from beginning to end, + i prefer the more complex and modern staging in avon. buuut flomo's has the highest peaks, esp musically.

didn't wake up for woodlands lol. im sure they were great and their guard was the best!!

ugh, woodlands the only finalist lock in that first column so far. boooo! how many top 22 semifinalists b/w them and Bentonville?? Hooopefully just Fishers, so Bentonville will be close by. Reagan might be a threat too w/ that late semis draw.

Personally, I don’t get all of the Avon love. A very nice performance but IMHO it’s just not exciting. The kids performed the heck out of the show but it just doesn’t bring the excitement that FM did. Just my two cents.

Early in the morning after a long day of travel, is pretty grueling.  I know, we did it last year. They'll have an extra gear tomorrow.

And let’s face it. The goal today was to make semis. One step at a time. Got to save something for  two more possible performances.

Watched The Woodlands from an upper suite this morning. Musical clarity was vastly improved to the end. They have cleaned significantly since San Antonio and I expect that to be reflected in the evaluation. Have thoughts on others from this perspective this morning. My take is not the general take, at least so far. Prelims is just step 1.

I understand that, I’m just going off of that performance. I know they have more to give.

Reagan just did very well too! Excited to see that one again tomorrow!

Some really great performances this morning. Dripping Springs was great. I would love to see them two more times.

I missed that! I’ll have to watch in semis. Few shows this year having Crown 2013 references it seems.

The more I watch these shows, the more I am thankful that there is a semis at this contest…That finals bubble is going to be crazy competitive. I think these Texas bands win in the balance and sound category 9 times out of 10. But there have been some great visual and effect performances from these non Texas bands.

I know right! I don’t know how they do 70+ bands at BOA San Antonio either …I definitely get extremely lost on who I think should be in finals across days.
