since somehow this forum is coming back, i'll place my favorite shows (it's easy to tell which Corp is my favorite. 1. Cavaliers 2006, Machine. This show is so amazing, i love the drill, music, and the robot like moves, there's also hits in here that i find so amazing 2. Cavaliers 2011, XtraOrdinary. This show is something else, the bass drums leaning onto their drum, the upside-down tenors feature, it's one of my favorites and will always be. 3. Carolina Crown 2013, E=mc^2. The brass in this show just sends chills down my spine, there is a space in my heart for this show. 4. Carolina Crown 2018, Beast. The low brass feature is crazy good, what's also cool is how the ramp thingy was in sync with either the concert bass drums in the pit or the trombones. 5. Troopers 2022, VorAcious. The close is one of my favorite parts in the show, in my opinion they should've gotten top 6 just for that closer. 6. Blue Devils 2023, The Cut-Outs. This is one of my favorite shows, mainly because of the jojo's bizarre adventure music lol.

I'll put out there that it's Gatesvilles first time making state back to back in the history of its program, which is a super cool achievement

im also from there, and from what i've been hearing from the directors, i want to say that the woodwinds need some work, the spacing is a big comment and alignment is also another thing, other than that, Gatesville is a pretty good band, and what happens at area depicts a lot about the band.

to me I really think that Gatesville's hotspot in their show is woodwinds mainly, the visuals still need to be cleaned and spacing need to be worked out

I really don't think Burnet will win area, only because China Spring came right behind canton, who's a bronze state medalist from last year. There show is good, but I do believe that China Spring can win the whole thing
