thsi is probably the most accurate predictions you can get imo, if anything there might be some swaps between Gatesville and Alvarado, and Krum, Robinson, and Kennnedale are going to get incredibly competitive for that 5th spot

I know this is your opinion but I slightly disagree, unless kennedale did some miraculous cleaning of their show and now they are better than most 4a schools then they shouldn't be placed this high. at Sounds of Springtown, Brock, Gatesville, China Spring, and Alvarado made finals and Kennedale did not. now while I haven't seen their show, I just don't think they should be placed this high

i meant i didnt say how china spring has a guaranteed spot because some bands may rise up to their level, sorry for confusion

me too, if it does, i hope the judges give us some type of credit for marching in the rain, because the ground is slippery, instruments may mess up, props might mess up, etc.

tbh, these new area changed and there only being 5 bands going to state makes this so much more intresting, because last year people in area d aren't having 12 area finalists and 6 state appearances, its now 10 area finalists and 5 state appearances, and panther creek taking the 1st spot guaranteed (china spring not mentioned because i feel like some people may rise to their level), making it only 4, this 99% makes the predictions for this area very hard because you don't know what to expect, especially with 2 WEEKS of show cleaning, we may have some tough competition setting panther creek aside, theres also a possibility that bands may end up beating panther creek, but thats just a small chance. i've also seen some people place kennedale above bands who beat them in area d last year? which just doesnt make sense to me, same with brock, who just came from 3A, glad that they are doing this good, but i don't think they are beating long time 4A's. i wish everyone good luck in performing on saturday!

opinions on gatesville? their show is good and surprisingly I haven't seen them been talked about here recently

if im correct finals spots is doubled by state spots, because with that huge number of state bands, 2-3 would be A. unfair to the people who didnt make state and B. having tbe judges decide on who to like send to state or not, since there would be 7-8/10, thats just a hard decision if you know what i mean, it wouldnt be worth it for the judges because you're basically sending all of finals to state

even though they did lose their bands, there are a TON of competitive ones, like China Spring, Gatesville, Aubrey, Krum, etc.

Finalists (ordered how it is on the list) 1. Alvarado 2. Castleberry 3. Kennedale 4. Lake Worth 5. Springtown 6. Benbrook 7. Panther Creek 8. China Spring 9. Gatesville 10. Aubrey (disclaimer: i havent seen half of the finalists shows, im literally js making complete guesses and hoping someone else agrees 🤣)
