Well, I know if you post a video on YouTube, it will probably get taken down because Hebron doesn't allow videos of them until the end of the season. Maybe you could still see them if the game is being livestreamed but idk.

Welp, there goes 2 finalists from last year, Arlington and Brewer. And btw I'd anyone has any information about this contest please let me know as I don't think they publicly post schedules or results. I will know the results anyway because my band is coming here, but no schedule.

Yeah, hope so too. Crowley's much more improved this year over last year, so I think they might actually have a chance at making it this year. Hopefully Lamar doesn't go over the 8 minute time limit again (I think that's what happened last year) and Skyline also seems like they're doing good for themselves. Bowie might just be a hit or miss, but I honestly just don't see Sam Houston or Grand Prairie making area. But as long as 3 out of the first 4 bands make it, then we'll see 7 bands advance to state.

Noticed that this page has been dead for weeks so I decided to bring it back to life. Anyway, do y'all think it's possible for 35 bands to qualify and this area sends 7 bands to state?

Yeah, I think I had made this list before realizing that the group champion automatically makes finals regardless of placement in prelims, and Godley is the only Group 1 band here, so they're basically guaranteed a finals spot, unless another Group 1 band enters this competition. With that being said, this competition is already really stacked as it is and being the smallest band there, I just don't see them placing high in finals. I'm not implying that they are a bad band in any way, but compared to bands like SLC, Lewisville, and North Garland, I just don't see them getting super high here.

Okay, so I know I've been neglecting this page for a while, and we've had new information about a lot of contests such as more band entries and even schedules. I'll try my best to update the spreadsheet based on the current information known.

Here's my early season predictions for this comp: 1st - Braswell 2nd - Centennial 3rd - John Horn 4th - Saginaw 5th - North Crowley 6th - Springtown 7th - Cleburne 8th - Midlothian Heritage 9th - Grandview 10th - Godley

So it looks like 18 bands will be competing this contest, but their website hasn't yet confirmed any of the bands. I know Crowley will be attending, which leads to 4 more bands left.

Yes, I know what you're talking about. We had an away game vs Haltom at their old grass field freshman year, and we decided to just have a standstill performance which didn't really help considering we had a competition the next day, so we lost a performance opportunity before a comp. They really need to upgrade that stadium and replace the grass with turf.

That and it is also located in a good school district with really talented programs. Prosper High and Rock Hill seem to be doing good for themselves, so I have no doubt that Walnut Grove will do the same.

So it turns out that John Horn has withdrawled from USBands so they are probably coming here instead.

So it looks like Lamar and John Horn are out, and Southwest and Stephenville are in.

James Martin originally only had three contests on their schedule: BOA DFW, Area, and BOA Waco.

I guess it's just that when I go on the website it still has October 1, 2022.

In sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't think it's happening this year as there's literally no new information about this comp yet and it's too late in the year to not have anything for it. And one of the MISD bands, John Horn, has already planned a comp this day, the USBands Dallas Regional.

Well, at this point I doubt they are going because this contest is now closed and is currently being waitlisted.

Yeah, I think Rockwall did that last year. They had an early prelims run at BOA Prosper and then came down here as the last competing band in prelims.
