actually, one of my friends got into Princeton - ranked higher than Harvard she doesnt get perfect grades or anything, but she does a ton of extra activities and organizations.

that's good, i dunno, i made a 183 last yr, i didnt miss any on math, but i did omit 4 questions, and then on the other to sections, i bombed. the ACT is probably the better test for me - more science and such, less verbal stuff

hey brass players, when you guys empty your "spit valve" is that really saliva or just condensation water or a mixture of both? (specifically trumpets) some claim that it is just water, but i've also seen some that were actually saliva (not dripping, but dropping down in one big strand like mucus almost) maybe thats just an anomaly. so..... water or spit?

hey guys, when i wrote about quitting marching, i wouldnt be quitting band itself (just marching), just that i'm very interested in the science research stuff (almost as much as band) and my parents have wanted me to quit band completely (marching and concert) since freshman year. but... i'm still here aren't i? and even now, i never really considered quitting a real option - i've devoted 6.5 years of my life to band and music, why would i quit now? As for the DM thing, I'll probably try out - when i'm committed to something, i use all of my energy to do a good job and won't disappoint.
