Castleberry HS- Nice Performance! I really enjoyed the visual design of the show and the guard performed very well! Congratulations on the performance! And Shout-out to the Dut-Dut Girl, keeping everyone in time!

Anna HS- Great run from Anna HS! The 4th movement seemed pretty new to me, but I don't think that will affect their chance at finals. I really enjoyed the Reading Rainbow and opener visual! Overall, congratulations on the performance!

West Plains HS- AMAZING Performance! That show was executed well! and I truly hope we can see more of the show in Finals! Congratulations on the performance!

Canyon HS- HELLO CANYON! That was the best performance so far this morning! Truly left speechless after that run. The music, the visuals, the concept of the show was overall fantastic! Overall, an amazing performance and congratulations on the performance!

Lumberton HS- WHAT A PERFORMANCE! Two Area C bands back-to-back and they both give us AMAZING performances! I really enjoyed the music and the visuals were really nice! I really enjoyed the ballad, and the 4th movement was interesting. I really hope we can learn more about Beethoven's secrets in finals :). Overall, great job to the Lumberton HS Band!

Sulphur Springs HS- What a performance! Fantastic music, Fantastic visuals, a show that is overall amazing! I liked the little Tuba feature during the ballad. They really showed up this morning for sure! I really hope we see them in finals! Congratulations on a wonderful performance!

Robstown HS- ITS ABOUT TIME...After chasing for a state spot, they finally got the chance and showed why they are now a State Qualifying band! The music was great, and the marching was executed nicely! Overall, a great performance and Congratulations again on qualifying to state for the FIRST time!!!!!

Pecos HS- Such a beautiful performance! This was my second time seeing their show and it is still as good as the first time I watched it! Great power, tone, and overall, great technique! I really enjoyed the visuals! Truly could see them place within the Top 15! Overall, thank you Pecos HS for an amazing performance!

Alice HS- Great way to start this contest! The music selections were SO good! Sweet Dreams and Requiem were executed very well! Overall, I really enjoyed the show and congratulations on advancing to state!

I think Bentonville could make it into Finals, definitely will be a battle though between Dripping Springs, Keller, Bentonville, Bowie, and Fishers, and idk if Castle will be there, but they could probably be in contention to

I like the predictions, but I wouldn't sleep on Pecos! I could see them taking first over Krum, but that's what I think

What a season! A Huge Congratulations to Rivercrest HS, not only was this their first ever state finals, but this is their first ever State Championship!!!! So proud of them :')

Clarksville HS- AMAZING PERFORMANCE! Sounded amazing and from what I saw, they marched amazing! Congratulations on a fantastic year!

Panhandle HS- Amazing job musically! I didn't get to watch the whole show, but did listen! Congratulations on a fantastic season!

Rivercrest HS- WOW! I knew the show sounded familiar, I saw a program do the show last year. Ya'll performed very well and that final movement gave me chills! Congratulations on a fantastic run!

Sundown HS- That opener was Beautiful!! The concept of the show is unique, and each feature was fun to listen to! Their marching was really good and shows why they advance to state so many times! I also enjoyed the ballad, was played very well! I could see them place in the top 3! Congratulations to Sundown HS on their finals run! I'll be hoping off for a bit so I can get go to work, so I will have both Rivercrest and Panhandle in the same post

Tenaha HS- Great Job! I enjoyed the music and the concept of the show! I personally feel that marching is going to place them lower unfortunately (I noticed individual marching issues mainly). But Overall, I really enjoyed the show! Congratulations to Tenaha HS on a fantastic season! I wanted to note that I really like how 2A bands are starting to move the front ensemble to the field and not having them on the front sideline!

Valley Mills HS- GREAT performance from Valley Mills! You could hear the emotion, especially in the final movement! I really enjoyed the music and loved the fact that the front ensemble was on the field instead on the front sideline. I could see them placing in the Top 3! Congratulations on a fantastic season!

Shiner HS- HELLO Shiner! What a way to start! Really like the concept of the show! I did hear some people stick out, but other than that, I really enjoyed the show! I really enjoyed the 3rd movement! The trumpet feature was really nice! Some good technique, and a great job in the closer! Congratulations to the reigning State Champion on the finals run!

First off, BIG congratulations to Vandegrift HS, the first school since the addition of conference 6A to not only win 2 titles within the classification, but to do so Back-to-Back! A big congratulations to Marcus HS on returning to the Top 3! And I wanted to note, this is the first time in school History that Marcus HS has placed 2nd! Of course, congratulations to Hebron HS, your 2023 Bronze Medalist! I hope they get the show cleaned and ready for Grand Nationals, because I really want them to take the win there! This is also the first time in school history that Hebron has placed in 3rd in finals! Finally, congratulations again to all the 2023 6A State finalists on an amazing season! To all who are headed to Grand Nationals, best of luck ya'll! and for those competing in San Antonio super regional, best of luck as well!
