It is possible! I personally believe though that if there isn't, then it will be the first 2 out of finals. My generalized thoughts on how many from each area will be in finals- Area A- 1 (or 2) Area B- 2 (or 3) Area C- 4 (or 3) Area D- 1 (or 0) Area E- 2

Yes. If 30 Bands had qualified, then we would have had 12 state finalists

State will be interesting this year- Area A- 3 Bands Area B- 5 Bands Area C- 7 Bands Area D- 6 Bands Area E- 5 Bands In total, there will be 26 bands at state. Best of luck to all next week at Area!

As of right now, I only know that Mabank recieved a 1st divison at Region 3

5 more schools for this area go tomorrow in region 5. 23 schools have qualified for this area so far. As long as 2 bands receive a 1st divison tomorrow, 25 bands will be at this area and 5 bands will be able to advance to state

This season has been so hard to predict that I don't even know anymore. I feel the 2 bands that will advance on so far is Friendswood HS and Barbers Hill HS. Outside of that, it's anyone's game

From what I've seen, if 4 1A's recieve a 1, 3 go to state. If 5 get a 1, 4 go to state, and so on

As of right now, there is 18 bands that have recieved a 1st Divison. There is still one more school to go. Idk if all bands are advancing based on old UIL 1A rules.

There is a great chance for 7, but super slim chance for 8 state qualifiers. Best of luck to the final 2 regions!

I got the chance to watch Lumberton tonight and all I can say is that Lumberton should be able to make state. They had a really great run. Their musical techniques were really good. They do have some work on the marching side, mainly with spacing. Overall though, I believe Lumberton will make state out of this area.

All Region 4 bands have recieved a first divison!! The following schools will be advancing to Area C- North Lamar Paris Pine Tree Pleasant Grove Sulphur Springs The following bands will be advancing to the State Military Contest (their spot still counts for area as of now)- Gilmer Pittsburg Spring Hill Congratulations to all the bands!!!

Each area, 2A-4A, automatically sends 3 bands to state. Once 20 bands qualify for area, 1 for every 5 bands that qualify will advance to State. 5-19 bands at area: 3 bands to State 20-24 bands at area: 4 bands advance 25-29 bands at area- 5 bands advance 30-34 bands at area- 6 bands advance 35-39 bands at area- 7 bands advance 40-44 bands at area- 8 bands advance It goes on, but 8 or 9 bands will normally be the highest possible amount we could see advance.
