  1. It's really cool seeing representation at this contest from other areas of DFW, like Duncanville and possibly South Grand Prairie from south part of the metroplex, and Colleyville and Richland from the Mid-Cities area!
  2. I agree with those as well. Also from SA I'd say Brandeis did pretty well this season. Their show was great, and they made finals at TMC. From the Houston area, Clements doesn't do BOA but shows up very strongly in UIL contests.
  3. 1. William Mason 2. Tarpon 3. Avon 4. Blue Springs 5. Ayala 6. Dobbyns-Bennett It would be really cool to see these bands from 6 different states come and represent at BOA SA. It would basically be Grand Nationals but with Texas bands
  4. What do y’all think are the best bands that historically did not attend BOA events or that didn’t attend a regional in the recent years?
  5. Hidalgo EC, Conroe HS, Smithson Valley HS, and Willis HS have contras.
  6. Here's my BOA Waco predictions that are probably going to be extremely inaccurate. 1. Leander 2. Cedar Ridge 3. Bowie 4. Waxahachie 5. Round Rock 6. Seven Lakes 7. SFA 8. James Martin 9. Owasso 10. Burleson Centennial 11. Carroll 12. Aledo/Weiss/McCallum/Colleyville Heritage/Birdville Bubble: Granbury, Chisholm Trail, JJ Pearce, Burleson, Johnson
  7. I think I would also add Chisholm Trail in bubble as well.
  8. They made finals at Houston in 2019, I believe it was the only BOA event they went to.
  9. I'm also excited for what Clear Creek has to offer in the next few years. They definitely seem to be growing, and now that they're set with a solid director I can't wait to see what comes from them.
  10. I would say look out for Colleyville Heritage, as they're doing BOA DFW and Waco, but it looks like they're getting a new head and a new assistant director. Hopefully the staff change isn't too rough for them.
  11. I don't know if it's set in stone finals at Waco, as I'm even concerned for Aledo to be able to make finals with how stacked Waco is.
  12. They're doing UsBands Saginaw, BOA Waco, Mansfield Preview of Champions, BISD Marching Festival, and Area F marching contest.
  13. Birdville HS from North Richland Hills TX. "The Ruins" Music by: Alfred Reed, Panu Aaltio, William Pitts, and Gavin Greenaway
  14. They're in 5a area F now with schools like Aledo, Birdville, Richland, Midlothian, Colleyville, and Centennial. The 5a area b is Frisco schools and etc. basically.
  15. I think Lovejoy is becoming a great 5a program, in my opinion they should've made state. And yes, Summit is back down to 5a, which means Area F marching contest for 5a will be even more competitive.
  16. I’m excited for the new circuit, but it’s gonna shake things up a bit.
  17. Congrats to Cedar Park! What an amazing show they put on!
