This stadium is weird from a sound perspective. The other thing that is interesting is how fans sweep in and out after every performance. So different than Austin.

Westwood added part 5 to the show. It literally made me feel all warm and fuzzy that I teared up

Heck yeah. I’m gonna be the loud lady yelling GO WOOD! And yeah, I know where we landed in finals. I’m just so stinking proud of these guys. They are adding a new part for Houston this week.

Westwood got 8th in Austin. I’m looking forward to their expanded show in Houston.

What is dumb is that there are two exits from that lot. They should have the south exit go south and the north exit going north.

Indeed. Word got out too. Lots of alums showed up. Saw class of 15,17,18 and 19 shirts.

Lots of Westwood kids in tears tonight. I couldn’t be more proud of this band.

Keep in mind that subscription also covers Texas Milesplit as well. If you have a kid who runs, it’s worth it. Plus you get DCI access over the summer.

Not trying to be cocky. I guess I’m biased. But I will say that this show is a complete 180 from last year. It’s beautiful, the music kicks ****, and it’s a ton of fun. Last year they had two new directors, a new head director and the a crappy show design. This year will be different. I’ll tell you what, I’ll stop bragging on them if they finish outside of the top 15 in Austin

Kinda funny to see Westwood discounted for finals. It seems like this event would be more favorable to them doing well.

So if you have ordered tickets for BOA Austin AND Houston, they aren't shipping out until today. I was told if I had purchased them separately, I'd already have my Austin tickets. Glad I called.

Do they have a concert show or a band show? Inquiry minds wanna know!

I don't think you're gonna see ours either. The kids have march a thon on Saturday as well.

PSJA must have used the same designer. They chose a grey based with the Maroon bear on them. PSJA is proud of their maroon. I don't care for show tops. But I get why bands do it.

I have a feeling DCI kind of stuff is gonna show up in a lot of shows this year. I can't wait! Already ordered my tickets for Austin, Houston and San Antonio.

I'm so glad that there aren't any videos of Westwood out there yet. The social media blackout seems to be working. I expect that to change this weekend, though with us playing Hendrickson. Yes I'm a Westwood homer. They shook House Park with their opening note during their halftime show on Friday. The show is flat out fun.
