Alright.  Let me chime in real quick before I eat a chicken sandwich:

- Cedar Park has made Finals at every BOA Regional it has attended since 2005.  

- HEB Marching Contest had no minimum time requirements.  That's why there was not a penalty for having a short show.

- BOA requires a minimum six minutes of "Performance Time" to avoid timing penalties.  If you are under that time, you are assessed a .1 penalty for every three seconds you are under time.  You are NOT disqualified for having a show that is under time. 

- Prosper has an insanely long season.  Good on them for taking their time and knowing that they are running a longer race than almost every single program in the State of Texas.

May not be the best show ever, but I really liked Churchill 2002 

Oh yeah, I guess I just read it wrong.

Dripping Springs is a great band. They don't get the accolades that they should because they have had to fight with the Leander 5A bands (Leander, when they were 5A, Cedar Park). At UIL last year they were fantastically close to winning. They won preliminaries but Cedar Park put on their best show of the year in finals and squeaked it out, again. 
Dripping Springs doesn't travel as much and aren't seen as much as the other top-flight bands. This leads to them being slightly overlooked by the regular fan/parent. 

I composed and sent my very respectful emails earlier today. Hopefully our outcry will be heard and changes will be made to this very antiquated school policy.

Churchill had some crazy good visuals. I was sitting with Rouse and we were all going crazy. Still not as crazy as MacArthur, nobody knew why they were Advanced Large and not Advanced Small, but their pit setup was cool.

I wasnt aware that bands are supposed to be the football team's personal performers. Is the football team planning to stay during halftime to watch the band's show?
 
Are members of the band forced to agree when they join that they will be loyal and supportive to the football team? I think that this is a very toxic message the administrators are sending that this is all the band is good for.

Man, I'm so sad we're not going to Austin this year, I wanted to possibly meet some of the people I've been talking to for so long here. We'll be at Cap City down at Burger Center this year.

So I was wondering, how did everyone here find this wonderful website? I found TxBands while looking for Area D 2014 results, at first I was frustrated because all of these links Google gave me weren't the official results and that it just gave me a forum. But then I decided to go back after a couple days to that forum and check it out, I was immediately hooked.

I'd probably do it, if I knew how.

I forgot where we got those, but you should definitely screenshot and save the ones you want, because those will most likely be replaced with the 2018 scores once they are released.
