How many points exactly IS GE? -
To add on, DCI.org added a headline in Capital Regiment's section Ralph and Gordon are joining them. Here's the article http://dci.org/news/news.cfm?news_id=aeca0...85-d3a65ada8e82

Not too sure about that, pal. I know our tenor section leader marches horribly! We try to march straight legged and he's over there falling on his heels with his legs almost 60 degrees. Our tenor tech qouted, "Man, Cavies would LOVE you!" -
If you actually take the time to jog to your band director's house, FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER! Dude, you ain't a band nerd, you are just messed up in the head!

Oh, my word, ya'll! You have this powerful means of communication and ya'll haven't seen it? "Bow chika BOW WOW" Good stuff

I have no real family in that area, but I do know several drummers out there from Brother Martin High School. They are a great group of guys and their band program is headed by former PASIC Int'l Rudimental Percussion Champion Marty Hurley. I don't know if ANY of them re alright, so pray for them ya'll (And be with the guys in Slidell. I know people there, too) (Also, one of our Cajuns in the section lost one of his best friend in Nawlins. Be with that family)

Don't worry. It will get clean soon. Beginner's luck never hits band rehersals, because if it did I would never overshoot my set. -
I've started a new topic for it. http://www.txbands.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=316 It's all for you guys who have fallen and lived to tell about it. My story is the first one

If you want to be in the best pit EVER, I'd hate to say it, but it's with the Cavaliers. Their pit arranger is the co-founder of Innovative Percussion, Inc. and is one heck of a cool guy. His work in the pit performances is nothing short of ABSOLUTELY FREAKING OUTSTANDING!!!!! -Drumline stuff for them consistently is lacking for a championship corps like the Cavaliers, but I can tell you the pit almost makes up for it...Almost

We could go on and on about that blasted Blue Devils tenor guy, but I want yours. I'll give what's so far my only fall It was WGI. One of our practices at some Pearland high school, I forget the name. Anyway, it was at a part of the show where we're marching about 216 bpm (NO JOKE) I had a drill move where I finished off an arc move but I had to go from facing 45 degrees one way to facing straight. I had a lot of trouble with that set. One day, during another rep of that part, I trip over my foot. Happened all the time to me, but I couldn't recover from this trip. I flung out my ams, held my breath, and ATE IT! I miraculously escape some dastardly injury by some how coming in where the drum shot under me. The back of the carrier flew onto my neck, and I was down good. I missed that whole rep and the one after it. They tell me I was lucky I had the "pipsqueak" 6lb snares because some guy in the Cadets fell ate it with a 15 lb snare, and the carrier hit him in the throat. I live to fall another day...

That would suck with homeboy's 60lb tenor set. I can only imagine... Thank Heaven my drum's only 15 pounds -
When you make story time out of your tales of "eating it" on the field. I've got a story. Gather 'rond kiddies!

Nah. I tried that. There's enough water in Houston's air to choke a person, but not enough to keep a fish alive. Besides, you could roast that dead fish on the sidewalk!

Same here. The difference between that and the girls around school is I can actually talk to these girls!

If what I've heard is right, Santa Clara Vanguard's instructional staff is taking SERIOUS blows as it's losing not only Rick Valenzuela, but also Murray, Myron Rosander, and Gordon Henderson. What's going on?!

Yeah, that's still too hot! If Earth gets anywhere NEAR that, I'm moving (that is, if I'm not fried yet)
