I wish I could man. I didn't film it, one of the girls in my class did. It's a darn shame, too. I know some idiots who would pay good money for that.

I hate the French gov't for being pansies, but I hate Brazil's team for being too good of a team. Good call. Also, the gme between Ecuador and England looks like it'll be one of the best in the tourney. England seems to be an all-star team, and Ecuador just upsetted its way to Sweet 16. This game looks to be one of the best in the Cup altogether!

I'm talking more about BD and the Cadets... Maybe Cavies, too. -
I'm a white guy in the suburbs! I never hear Spanish outside of Mexicans cussing at Houston Dynamo games!

Dude, if you want major politics, you've gotta talk drum corps. It's nothing BUT politics nowadays. -
Blue Knights have been underrated for years...In 2002, I thought they had one of the best dlines in DCI. Until last year, Crossmen's drumline was awesome, but they just sucked last year.

That was the dumbest video I've seen that hasn't been removed from Google Video. There was one my class did of this almost-retarded sub we had that got removed in a week, fearing he might lose his job. Other than that, this WAS the wierdest thing I've seen. "I'm Jose Conseco!"

OK, ustedes viven el los Estados Unidos. ?Por que no se encantanlos? Al contrario, yo iba a aclamar por los irlandes si fueron en la Copa Mundial. (Not bad for a white guy with three years of Spanish from bad teachers) !Vivan los Estados Unidos!

"Jupiter". Gustav Holtz. Enough said. Got the privalege to play it for UIL Full Orchestra. Man it's beautiful. "Havendance" by David Holsinger. This music is awe-inspiring. When I watched my brother play it in his eighth grade cocert, I was forever a concert season fan. "Nimrod" from "Enigma Variations", I forget the composer. If you ever get a chance to play it, count your blessings. This is the most beautiful ballad I have ever heard. Period. Almost anything from Eric Whitacre. That man must be crazy because all great music like this cme from lunatics. There u go.

Random Band Facts game

Avon High School has a reputation for having one of the best drumlines in Indiana, but in the 2004 BOA GN, the drumline was 10 snares, 5 tenors, and (6?) basses, about 5 snares, two tenors, and a bass too dirty. -
I'm frankly not too worried about Cavies doing less than you might have expected. Jim's ultra-aggressive playing style is probably the hardest style to work with, at least at the beginning. Give the Cavies some time, and this drumline "otta" develop into a more B-A, mature drumming force. Besides, maybe first show jiters?

For the third year running, San Antonio, but I'm going to my first World Championship in August! Hoo-rah! Madison's gonna ROCK!

Who else has been glued to ESPN2 watching this? There's some amazing crap going on! It's kinda stupid that the most popular sport in the world is on ESPN2 while ESPN covers the NCAA Baseball World Series and drag racing, but still, this is good stuff! Comment on your thoughts.

If you're gonna tilt the drums, you gotta play like the 2000-2004 SCV. That's what it was resurrcted for. The ultra-aggressive, ultra relaxed plying style. That's why I don't like BK too much. Their drums are tilted too much in my opinion. ( for those other DCI nerds who know bout SCV, yes thay did tilt the drums in 1998, but they still plyed goofy back then.)

Random Band Facts game
TX Suh-nare replied to mnkyman's topic in Everything Music: Marching, Concert, Auditions and more
1. One time, according to legend, Carmel High School won Grand Nats in the 80s with NO percussion section. Hard to believe, yes indeed. 2. Most marching bands work better when adverse ether conditions strike. Triple digit temps, rain, heck for y'all panhandle folk, northers. 3. The Great State of Texas has had the most marching bands appear in a Grand Nationals Finals from out-of-state. Can I sing, "God Bless Our Texas, and keep her brave and strong, That you may grow in power and wealth throughout the ages long." -
Huh?

I can't tell what's uglier...the uniforms, or those tenors. Oh my GOSH those are nasty Dy-Nastys!
