  1. That's not what I mean. I mean this whole surrealism thing just creeps me out! (*shivers down spine*) I want to see them revive some oldies, like Holsinger and Bernstein and Copland! That would be cool!
  2. That's awesome! A guy that's been in DCI for most of his freaking life prbably needs a little break. I mean, he just might be one of the oldest band nerds alive!
  3. Truer words hath not been spoken
  4. Not really. I hate doing it indoors because when the A/C is on, you're breathing in cold air, which hurts to breathe.
  5. Texas just has gone downhill w/ sports. I just never remembered liking a winning team in the Great State of Texas! I was an Oilers fan when Cowboys were good, I never liked the Spurs, and I was too young to enjoy the Rockets 94-95 victories. My sports memories begin with the Killer B's, a bad Spurs team, and the Oilers hi-tailimg it to Tennesee because the owner was a $@%*.
  6. When you can zip up the back of a girl's uni and not get any naughty thoughts.
  7. He'd better! I hope he knows wht he's rebelling against!
  8. They did that in the early 80s, didn't they? I think in 1981 they got 7th, but won it BIG in 1982
  9. Can I get an "AMEN?" (Insert "AMEN" here)
  10. Me too! It's the coolest carrier tan EVER! My two-pack (aka my worthless attempt at abs), shoulders, and sternum are pale white and the rest is almost blood-red! And to think I don't even feel bad...
  11. Never heard of the Okie version, but I have experienced the hold 'em in Texas. I kicked the CRAP out of my Grandpa at that game. Considering that was probably a pastime for him in the Navy in WWII and Korea, I must be better than my brother says! Watch your backs!
  12. Mr. Deeds is a little more down-to-earth comedy, which I rather enjoy, but Happy just has too much funny in it. Waterboy is hilarious, and I couldn't stop staring at the girlfriend in Anger Management. What's her name?
  13. You can just see the DM clapping. That's what I did in the pit.
  14. Langham Creek has a good program. Very consistent as far as BOA is concerned. Always up there as one of the big contenders. Aren't they going to Houston?
  15. I didn't find Appassionada that great. Compared to 1998 and 2003 the year before, it didn't quite add up. I said that out of my personl opinion.
  16. That Cadet show is down right scary! The skitzo Catholic School Girl? Yikes!
  17. No-Tara as in Tara Lapinski! Gosh! What does Pantera have to do w/ Texas?
  18. I'll keep with Bowling for Soup, but I choose "Ohio" (which is also known as "Come Back to Texas") I can even list off who wants you back -Troy Aikman wants you back -Willie Nelson wants you back -NASA wants you back -And the Bush twins want you back -And Tara wants you back -And Blue Bell wants you back I've got a premonition-I'm taking a petition and the whole states gonna SIIIIIIIGGGGGGNNNN-......
  19. I hope you're right, because the pain I feel as a rookie drummer is indescribable. OOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW! My shins hurt, my calves hurt, my back hurts, and my perc director has just about killed all of my pride for making it in the line. I need a massage!
  20. I remember the time when the movie Gladiator came out. Every band around used it! Don't it seem odd that all the best music is overplayed?
