As a recent 2018 6A State Band, I was genuinely confused as to what I saw on the field for John Horn, but if there really was major staff changes, I can see it reflecting on the outcome.

United’s sets were cleannn; and that Alpine part was absolutely thrilling. Visually, cleanest of the day so far.

The only reason I didn't is because its a 5A year and Roma goes hard those years, hence putting them under them. Yes, Pioneer is 5A too, but they have never been above Roma to my knowledge.

Flomo 16 and CTJ 17 would have won grand nats. We already reached that level in my opinion. Also Prosper making Grand nat finals and not state finals goes to show how good we are at our craft. There's nothing really like Texas marching band.

Predictions 1) Alexander 2) United 3) San Benito 4) Hanna As for the 5th spot, I think that'd be the most difficult to predict. Quite a few bands are shooting to be their like U South, Los Fresnos and Harlingen. Guess we'll have to wait until then.
