The Mesquite Marching Festival will be held on Saturday, Sept. 30, at Mesquite Memorial Stadium in Mesquite TX.

In sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't think it's happening this year as there's literally no new information about this comp yet and it's too late in the year to not have anything for it. And one of the MISD bands, John Horn, has already planned a comp this day, the USBands Dallas Regional.

I know Heath and Rockwall have it on their Calendar, and the Mesquite band has it on their calendar saying “Mesquite Marching Festival (We host and perform)”

Yeah I would be very surprised if it wasn’t happening. I’d imagine Hebron probably will be going once again, but it seems like this is always a staple comp to the start of the season.

Mesquite always has a band competition every year. However, there are several other competitions around the area that same weekend as well. I know there is a big one the same day in Princeton as well.

There’s also HEB, Wylie, and multiple boa comps in tx.

Rockwall’s show also blew me away! Their concept was something I really like to see! I loved that muted trumpet solo in the beginning. Also, they have an amazing color guard!! Awesome performances!!

 

I saw 1st and 2nd performance but not 3rd's. Could you tell me if Rockwall Heaths performance was good?

HEATHS PERFORMANCE WAS AMAAZING SOLID 10/10 ONE OF THE BEAT SHOWS I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE

They were good, and I think considering they had a couple bad tears and still got 3rd is significant
