Yes, pretty amazing. Panther Creek is basically a Frisco ISD school that hasn't gone to AAAAA yet. They'll probably be in AAAA for another cycle, based upon estimated enrollment data, before they jump up a classification.

They do have seniors but this is only the school’s 2nd year in existence. They do have a few kids that moved over from Lone Star so they a little experience at this level. Congrats to them.

Some bands' numbers were all over the place (e.g. three judges would have had Burnet and Gatesville in finals), but only one judge ranked Canton better than 12th so their numbers were more consistent than many. It's not like one judge cost them a finals slot.

Canton is ranked way too low. There’s no way that was a 14th place show. Those kids deserved a better ranking than that

Calallen HS-

WHAT A PERFORMANCE! I really liked their music selections, and the concept of the show was really nice! I'm a sucker for Space themed shows XD. There were some issues in the marching side of the show, but overall, it was well Executed! I enjoyed the performance and am very excited to see Calallen advance to Finals! Congratulations Calallen HS on the performance and being a 2023 4A State Finalist!!!

Another year where Lumberton places right out of finals. Oh well, there is always next year.

Since 2018, Lumberton has placed between 11th - 15th. I think their time to advance is coming.

West Plains HS-

AMAZING! That was an amazing performance! I felt that it was much improved from their prelims run. I love the concept of this show and the use of Starry Night painting to create this concept! The music is nice, the visuals looked clean, and overall was executed well! Congratulations to the first time finalist at UIL State, Your 4A 2023 State Finalist, West Plains HS!

Canyon, I absolutely love your closer. "Saturn" by Sleeping at Last is a favorite song of mine and your arrangement and performance of it is spectacular! Congrats on making state finals!

HELLO AGAIN CANYON HS! What an AMAZING show and another AMAZING performance! I really love this show and the music and the visuals just make this a show that you can watch over and over again. North Lamar HS-

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL PERFORMANCE! First off, I wanted to welcome North Lamar HS back to Finals! This show is very interesting to say the least. Personally, I feel that this run was an improvement from Prelims, and They executed their show very well! That ballad is an amazing arraignment of Can't Help Falling in Love with You! It was played well! Congratulations to your 4A State Finalist, North Lamar HS, on their performance!
