lol ive been stalking DCP this season and really don't understand why theyre on his a** all the time. nothing super weird in his previous DCI scoring, like at all. no wtf gaps. maaaaybe in 2002 he really threw the contest for Carmel at BOASA via VisGE, think that was him, dont know why the f*** i remember that 20 years later, but i also kinda agree w/ it in retrospect. Carmel was clearly more effective than Bell visually lol.

my fav thing to do now is follow the live forums comments, watch the leaked YT vids, be like lol wtf were those ppl watching, look at the recaps, be like ok the judges generally got it right, then go back to the forums and read the meltdowns over the judging lolol. doesnt help that theyre all biased and clearly have corps they're rooting for lol

Oh boy.... Cadets showed up and showed out tonight! It has been many years since I have liked a Cadets show. It's nice to have them back...

 

And The Mandarins who I have fallen in love with since the Stravinsky show has my favorite show of the season.

judges got the top 3 right. what/how splits seem to indicate Bloo could move up w/ a stronger performance tho i think the finals panel is probably favorable for Crown. still a pretty obvious visual ge/music ge judge split for Bloo vs Crown. so much for judging w/ the same sheet eh?

Chumley had Devs in 2nd and Bloo in 1st so everyone can stfu about him now lol.

Oh, that one's not even a maybe for me. 😄 All the other judges had Bell in 1st except for individual visual. In visual GE, Chumley gave Carmel an 18.2 and Bell a 16.7. That's the equivalent of a 91 versus an 83.5. That's a HUGE gap. Granted, he had Bell 5th, so it wasn't a 1st and 2nd gap, but still. Even if I agree with you that he chose the right 1st place, the scores were nutty! 🥜

the devs will deserve the win if they pull it off but i hope there's an upset, at least in semis lol. it would be exciting.

You’re not alone. I personally hope there is, hoping Crown can finally medal again(which is looking good, and some shake up in the bottom! Should be able to watch most of the top 16 or so. GL to everyone today!

Great run from PC! I wouldn’t say finals for them is impossible, but I feel like it will be Crossmen or BK. Regardless, a PHENOMENAL season for them! One of my favorite shows of the season!

BK or the Crossmen, who wins the battle for 12th.  I saw both live and they both gave fantastic performances.  I am leaning towards BK.

I agree. Both are amazing and so well, but I think BK well edge them out bc of GE, but it could go either way.

Had to miss some, but back on with Colts and my GOD! They sounded freaking incredible! I think I like last years theme better but my goodness they killed it! What a season they are having, can’t wait to see this tomorrow night!

HOLY SMOKES PHANTOM! they just keep getting better and better! Some rough moments for some soloist/releases, but overall killed it, definitely have a better run in them for tomorrow night. Face is being blown off tonight!

Holy Crap Mandarins! I'm still in awe as to far they have come this year. I think like PR they've got a better run in them, but it was phenominal regardless!

Cadets have just left me speechless....again! I mean they just keep killing their show with ease. May be my favorite show of the year ngl, they just perform the heck out of it, and that visual book is so freaking hard and they make it look so easy, going to be tight between 5-7 tonight!

Every corps is turning in amazing performances today. Gheez! We may have the highest average score in a semi-finals ever. 

Phantom....best run of the year. Their dynamics were stunning. Soloist flues happen. 

Cavaliers: Enjoy winning the percussion caption...it won't be close. You soloists were so much better tonight. I cannot wait to see what they pull out tomorrow. 

Mandarins you left me in tears

Troopers...now that's getting it put together in a show when it counts.   The ballad was stunning

Colts.... Not sure when you developed such a rich and well balanced sound but keep doing it.... WOW!

Cadets....high energy and full sound. Guard looked great and your soloists jammed out! 

I'm torn for 12th qualifier.... I really want it to be the Crossmen and with the performance they had today it is a possibility. But....the Blue Knights showed up and showed out.

Boston just through down! Hoping they don’t get a penalty for the late start, a little bit of intonation issues, but my god that was incredible!!! GUARD IS OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!

Noo e take this th3 wrong way....I have finally figured out what it is I do not like about this Bloo show. The entire firet half of the show would not stand on it's own without the voice over. To me this makes the music secondary to the voiceover. The show is done at such a high performance level but the entire first half of the show just doesn't tickle me as the Bluecoats tend to. I guess you can say that the show has done what great art does and evokes an emotion. I hope this show wins it all this year.

I just can't take this Bloo show seriously anymore, if I did before. The voiceovers are WAY TO MUCH!!! It's just fake GE to much, they just added way to much, and I still yet to see show they are top 3, and you could even tell the crowd reaction was so much less there than BAC. Guard is great, they sound great, but it's hard not to laugh at this point. I just don't understand why they are going this route, but i surely hope it's a one year thing. Not a Bloo hater but this show just isn't my cup of tea. Blow our faces off crown!

CROWN WANTS THE GOLD!!!! I MEAN HOLY COW!!! That brass is UNSTOPABBLE!!!! If anyone is going to beat BD, it will be them. I'm just in awe. How do they do this year in and out. Best crown show since at least 2016, but my god!

Alright, here’s my predictions for tonight. I really think Crown can win, but not tonight, but it wi be very very close, and if they do I’ll scream! Anyways, preds:
