Randall performed in the heaviest rains at Area A last year and it was maybe the best performance of the year for them

Randall’s performance last year was the stuff of legend.

I think weather at C is starting to trend better!

Sweet. Seems like the same trajectory as last year.

Area B update:

"We continue to monitor weather for Saturday and are encouraged.  This morning's Perry Weather forecast for Pennington Field on Saturday is rain moving out around 7:00 AM with a clear morning.  Between 1 PM and 7 PM there will be a 30% chance of light scattered showers and a 10% chance of lightning.  After 7 PM, clear conditions are expected for the rest of the evening.  We have found Perry Weather to be very reliable, especially the closer we get to an event.  Again, the final determination of any delay to the start of the event will be communicated on Saturday morning before 6:00 AM via email and through the Competition Suite app.”

Which is kind of wild, because that's not anywhere close to many other forecasts.  And PerryWeather doesn't show an outlook for Saturday yet.

Rumor going around that 4A Area C is considering moving to Monday at Pine Tree HS in Longview.

That was the backup plan that started Tuesday night. I think it was mentioned in here too?

I must of missed it. I reached out to a few people I know and still no word yet but mentioned the possibility of that.

Looks like the overall percentages for north tx are also going down from 50s to mid 30s!

Hopefully!  Looks like the main stuff will clear out by mid morning.  I know PESH (area j)  doesn't want a repeat of the 2010 situation as they had to run for cover as the tornado sirens started up right after their performance.  The storm start about midway thru their show.

Dang, so all the Houston areas moved to Monday.

Weather continues to look like it will cooperate with DFW areas!

Weather continues to look bad in the Houston area Saturday.  And these areas had pretty bad weather last year and I suspect are trying to avoid a repeat of that.

Yeah, wasn’t too surprised that Area I rescheduled so early because of just that lol
