That would be pretty amazing to achieve here with this strong of a lineup. With a show called "Welcome to Wonderland" making Finals here and at State would just be the best thing ever!

When you say designer heavy panel, what type of show do you think they favor? How do you see their background play out in judging?

don't know what they favor, prob different things individually, but my feeling is that they're better positioned to help bands figure out the content stuff, since they're super duper arrangers and visual designers themselves. if i were a newbie designer, might even be a lil intimidated to hear what they think LOL. excited for the feedback too.

the 2 that judge a lot for DCI/WGI/BOA recently are Clif Walker and Damon Padilla, who just judged DCI finals. they may be more locked into the national judging "hive mind" as I call it.

tbh results at this contest can sometimes be a bit different than i expect. it's been that way since the beginning!!

I wouldn't be so certain of a bridgeland sweep after how Dawson did this past weekend... Langham Creek also took a 1st place ordinal over bridgeland in music this past weekend so could see dawson snagging that! Hope that clear brook rebounds nicely here. I'd also have Klein Collins above oak ridge seeing how much higher KC scored over OR this weekend

I liked your predictions until I noticed your 12th place. I personally dont see Brazoswood making finals. I also would bring Klein Oak down a few spots and move up Klein Collins to the 7 - 10 range.

I agree with you on KC & Brazoswood, but I think I see KO comfortably in 6th. They made finals over Clear Brook this weekend, and seemed as though they had a rough first competition to me after watching them.

I'm not 100% sure, however I think it's because of the sheer quality of the bands. There are just so many really good bands for only 10 spots.

I was just looking, i think it may be 12 for a change.  730 Finals start, 1030 finals end...thats 12 slots.

I believe it has been 12 ever since BOA went from 10 to 12 for regionals. This contest pretty much follows BOA's lead.

Yeah i agree with you klein collins have gotten so much better since they place 1st place overall in Us band beating oak ridge and other competitive band in their.
