Nope, it's usually a pretty good contest. However, I know a couple of schools that went last year are planning on going somewhere else. Of course schedules could change.

Princeton. One of my favorite lesser known bands!  They did Leander’s “Radioactive” last year and are doing another Leander remake this year!  Love to see it!

Radioactive was crazy. It was so much going on but in a good way. Which Leander remake are they doing this year?

I loved that show last year, felt that it was a little underappreciated and should've been recognized more from the time I saw it in contest. Small but mighty

As of right now van Alstyne is confirmed and Princeton as exhibition. It had Celina going but I’m pretty sure they’re full McKinney now

I have not heard anything, I know they use to be good about updating stuff and sending stuff out. They don't have last years results posted on their site.

I think celina is planning to do both contests, at least that’s what someone posted on the thread for the other contest. The question is, if they make finals at both, which contest will they stay for?

I’m fairly certain there have been a series of head director changes at Princeton. That might have something to do with it.

Here are my predictions for this contest!

1st: Royce City

2nd-4th: Liberty/Celina/Sulphur Springs

5th: West Mesquite

6th: Canton

7th: Sherman

8th: Van Alstyne

9th: Community

10th: Tyler

11th: Bridgeport

12th: Williams

This comp could quite literally go any direction, I haven’t personally seen a good portion of these band other than the last block of prelims and a few in the 2nd block. This is just where I think these bands stand now. I think the top 6 will be the most interesting. Especially after Liberty, Celina, and SS will have competed against each other at Melissa! Royce City will most likely win this one.

I’m fairly certain there have been a series of head director changes at Princeton. That might have something to do with it. 

Celina is using Mckinney as an extra run, they are staying for Princeton finals and pulling out of Mckinney if they even make finals at Mckinney.

The fact that Celina and SS beat Liberty last weekend, and Liberty beat RC in this competition last year, I think anything is possible.
