A decent amount of bands have region on this day in the DFW area, I think 24 and 25 so most very north Texas bands in attendance here do, but boa does a decent job (I think) of helping the groups doing both manage

It’s not uncommon for some bands to do both! Wylie East did so in 2022

That seems pretty early for a region contest, but to be fair it could help with preparing for area and state, especially those who are in that second wave of people (A, 3A, 5A this year i think)

Yeah, Region 25 split up their contests. 6A and the Plano NVs are on October 11, 2A/3A/4A is October 15, and 5A is October 18.

The 3A bands in this region get two weekends before Area.

That's because the State Contest flipped this year. This year 2A/4A/6A are the first week and 1A/3A/5A are the 2nd week which could affect several contests like it did last year

I’m alway fascinated with predictions, mainly because they are “fun”. Predictions this early though really are just based on reputations and themes. 
 

The one thing all these bands have in common are 25% turnover as seniors move on and Freshman move up. 
 

Any big name OK or Arkansas bands on list this year?
