Dave609
Well with the release of the 2024/2026 alignments, this area is about to see a really big change! With the addition of Region 3 and Region 25, we could see 6 to 10 bands advance to the state marching contest from this area as long as all bands are under Varsity. Plus this area has military bands so those spots will still count! This will truly be an area you will want to be watching for. Also, the regions could change at any time until it is finalized. 4A Area C (Region 3, 4, 9, 10, 19, 21, 25, 33)- Region 3 (7)- Caddo Mills HS Canton HS Kemp HS Mabank HS Quinlan Ford HS Sunnyvale HS Wills Point HS Region 4 (8)- Gilmer HS Kilgore HS North Lamar HS Paris HS Pine Tree HS Pleasant Grove HS Spring Hill HS Sulphur Springs HS Region 9 (2)- Shepherd HS Tarkington HS Region 10 (13)- Bridge City HS Hamshire-Fannett HS Hardin-Jefferson HS Hargrave HS Hudson HS Jasper HS Liberty HS Little Cypress-Mauriceville HS Livingston HS Lumberton HS Silsbee HS Vidor HS West Orange Stark HS Region 19 (0 Bands) Region 21 (12)- Athens HS Brownsboro HS Bullard HS Carthage HS Center HS Chapel Hill HS Cumberland Academy HS Henderson HS Lindale HS Palestine HS Rusk HS Van HS Region 25 (5)- Bonham HS Celina HS Community HS Farmersville HS Van Alstyne HS Region 33 (3 (Doesn't show they have bands))- Galena Park CTE Early College HS Houston Harmony School Advancement Quest Early College HS
J-Mike16
This change has now caused Area C to be even more competitive. Region 3 (7)- Caddo Mills HS Canton HS Kemp HS Mabank HS Quinlan Ford HS Sunnyvale HS Wills Point HS Region 4 (8)- Gilmer HS Kilgore HS North Lamar HS Paris HS Pine Tree HS Pleasant Grove HS Spring Hill HS Sulphur Springs HS Region 9 (2)- Shepherd HS Tarkington HS Region 10 (13)- Bridge City HS Hamshire-Fannett HS Hardin-Jefferson HS Hargrave HS Hudson HS Jasper HS Liberty HS Little Cypress-Mauriceville HS Livingston HS Lumberton HS Silsbee HS Vidor HS West Orange Stark HS Region 19 (0 Bands) Region 21 (12)- Athens HS Brownsboro HS Bullard HS Carthage HS Center HS Chapel Hill HS Cumberland Academy HS Henderson HS Lindale HS Palestine HS Rusk HS Van HS Region 25 (5)- Bonham HS Celina HS Community HS Farmersville HS Van Alstyne HS Region 33 (3 (Doesn't show they have bands))- Galena Park CTE Early College HS Houston Harmony School Advancement Quest Early College HS ---- Bands in bold are the current State ranked bands from 2023. Bands in italics are the ones I think will fill up the rest of the Area Finals spots and also could replace any of the bolded bands.
Tubalord11
I’m super excited to see how this area turns out!! With the additions of bands like Pine Tree and Celina, it’s going to be a MASSIVE battle for finals and state. Throwing in my way to early predictions: 1st: Celina 2nd: Pine Tree (have a really good feeling about them) 3rd: Sulphur Springs 4th: North Lamar 5th: Canton (could be higher) 6th: Lumbertown 7th: Paris I’m only gonna to my top 7, if they end up sending ten there are a good amount of programs that could take the other 3 spots. Will be a fun one to watch!!

Will be a fun one to watch!! Based on last year, I think the 7th place spot belongs to Kaufman or Farmersville. They were both above Paris and tied eachother at the area finals for Area B. While Paris always performs great shows, Kaufman has consistently been a highranking and competitive school. I don't see a school such as them not placing in the 7th spot or above for this area. I'm not so sure about lumbertown since I've never seen them in person or recording but I think they will definitely have a very tight sliver to try to slide into. Needless to say, This year will be the most competitive I've ever seen; probably more than back in the Argyle and Melissa years for Area B. I was unaware thanks for letting me know. I guess that 7th spot id up for grabs then but Farmersville might take it since they did tied with Kaufman 2023 and didn't get to far off in 2022. Can't wait to see Paris, Lumbertown, and Farmersville compete for their spot at 7th and 6th place spots.
