IF these highly qualified judges did a lousy judging area E, then the whole system needs your be changed. I suggest using the same model used in the youth soccer program FFPS (fun, fair, position, soccer) In this soccer league no score is kept. Nobody gets a trophy. Everyone is a winner. No judges will be needed.

Feel your pain. Two years ago One judge knocked CyFalls out. They dropped from 3rd in prelims to 5th in finals missing state by one point. This is an imperfect system in an imperfect world.

Most marching band seems to grow on you the more you here it. Anyone who grew up in the sixties has heard Judy Collin's SEND IN THE CLOWNS hundreds of times. Langham does an excellent job with it. Personally I like pop songs with marching band competion. I am still waiting for that David Bowie themed show.

CyFair played a recording during all throughout their entire show in two competion I went to. Last week at UIL no recording. What's up? This deal about Seven Lakes consistently beating CyFalls and CyFair is true. What can you read from this? All three bands 3 weeks ago were separated by 0.7 points. They were close that day. A lot has changed I am sure for all 3 programs during the last 3 weeks that I am sure of. We will see which band has peaked at the right time. The band season is a marathon folks. I wouldn't put to much credence in the warm up races. Comment from spectator and finisher of 7 marathons.

I hope all 20 schools show up Saturday. If one is a no show the area only gets 3 schools to State. I see Scarsdale HS was a no show last night in Katy. Rules will change next year that over look no shows.

As of now area only has 13 schools in. Katy region 4 school left to go (Bellaire, Cinco, katy, and Westside) No results from area 13 yet where there are 6 schools

I thought this was a marching competion. Music, marching, color guard CyFalls will place high in all three categories. Some bands may be higher one category or another than CyFalls but these bands are weak in the other category. CyFalls is rounded. Strong in every category. 8th Place in Conroe BOA. Percussion won one US Band Competition while the color guard won another US Band Competition. All you people who say the show is bad go on the TX bands live Conroe BOA and read blogger Brandon Quan's comments from 2 weeks ago, " Huge crowd response for Cy falls. Their show had that massive Cy falls sound and heavy percussion falls is known for. One of my top 3 favorite shows today"

Well if the other regions can qualify schools at the same percentage (72 percentage) as region 27 we should have a total of 22 schools area. These regions are supposed to be improved.

CyFalls hype is it is very good and the program is on a high upward trajectory. Sorry if your rooting interest is elsewhere.

No I watched your show Saturday and since I one of those people who finds clowns creepy I quoted some lyrics from an old Smoky Robinson song 'Tears of a Clown' I have a weird sense of humor. I thought Langhams solo of Judy Collins song was amazing.
