Astros sweep pop the champagne! Next game against Red Soxs or Yankees Saturday. I hope Waco ISD stadium has guest Wifi

Fund raisers and band fees and it is still a stuggle. I think unfortunately for the schools in the so called poorer schools there is always a limit of how high the band fees can be raised before you loose members. Personally it's a sacrifice for me that I willing to make because I have seen first hand the long term benefits of being a member of a competitive high school band!

Freshman Wests Lake kicker was clutch. I was driving around Houston listening in my non sir conditioner car thinking about the poor bands performing in Conroe. It is so hot today

And Texas beating Oklahoma 24-10

The people who are making predictions have Dripping Springs coming in 5th which in my thinking is not being under estimated. I look forward to seeing them in person next week!

Forget the fancy props the bands that integrate air conditioned ponchos are the real winners ☔

Welcome out of town guests to the 2018 Houston monsoon.

CyFair ISD, Katy ISD, and Houston ISD school make up the area as far as I can figure.

1. The Woodlands 2. Vandergrift 3. Reagan 4. Bowie 5. Churchill 6. CyFair 7. SFA 8. Clear Brook 9. Brazoswood 10. Oak Ridge

It's really impressive what 7 Lakes has done dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. I guess Brazoswood didn't bounce back as quickly, but if it stop raining in Houston they still have time to get it all togethe!

I think there is very little correlation between early BOA reults and end of year results. I just guessing 7 Lakes played entire show while Brazoswood didn't.

As I mentioned earlier it's only September 22. I'm sure everyone at Westfield is working hard and this experience will only make them stronger.Hopefully the rain Houston has experienced the last 4 weeks will slack up so they rock!

No secret just thought September 22 was pretty early for a Marching competition

Mother nature is winning without the flood this year. Rain in forcast again this weekend! Unfortunately after 3 games band only got on field once. If the football team had picked up the pace of the games ( a ton of penalties, time outs, and running pass plays that end up being incomplete thus stopping the clock when the end result is already determined. I'm sure the band would have performed all 3 weeks. Marching band importance is way down on the list here.

I'm confused are all these video posts of some band that not coming to Waco?

Extreme Heat — Anyone affected?
Astros replied to gmtb617's topic in Everything Music: Marching, Concert, Auditions and more
Know one school in Houston due to construction had to practice entirely outside for the last four weeks approximately 132 hours no shade heat index over 100! Who ever said marching band kids, color guard, and directors aren't tough? No Hurricane this year please! -
Hard to predict this area but I’m pretty sure ever school will be happy with no Hurricanes! This area may not have the best bands in the state but I’m pretty sure their programs are the most resilient
