I guess I'm too late to the marching scene to have a perspective because I really like the entertainment aspect of the BOA shows.

There is no rhythm or reason to judging marching shows. It not like determining who won a 100 yard dash. Sometimes this subjective helps your school sometimes it doesn't. It is sort of like judging best movie of the year. Different strokes for different folks

I never like to root for favorites. That being said you nailed it. People from The Woodlands do have class. Woodlands high school band is able to achieve at an incredible level and remain humble. What ya great example for all bands.

Area E Stephen F Ausin also in BOA finals. They have a killer show.

Wow 2nd place at Galena Park marching festival and 1st place at Katy Marching contest.

I'm in Houston so I am not real familiar with your band.I see you finished 8th at last weeks BOA. This is pretty awesome. So the answer are you a good band is yes. Have fun!!

My son was in hs band for 4 years.I have a daughter in middle school now who will most likely be in his band in a couple of years. I grew up in NY where there wasn't any type of music program in hs.I feel the band programs in Texas are the best thing going.

. Didn't mean to infer that they were in E. Only that 3 area E bands went toe to toe with a very good band year in and year out and came out on top.
