Does anyone remember the composer contests we used to do here? There would be a theme and then everyone would submit a piece and we'd vote on which we liked best. Would anyone be interested in starting that back up again?

I can see it now. The synths will begin to "learn" by our actions...and one day take over the drum corps activity. Just like in some lame horror movie

I doubt any corps is going to have more than 1 or two synths at most. And there still has to be talented people to make the machines work. As far as I'm concerned a trumpet is as much as a machine as a synth

Yeah as much as it sucked It was kind of cool I guess. I got to see a lot of things I'd never seen in our show before. But I would've rather been marching any day of the week
