I’m so excited to be here performing w the UNT Green Brigade! I am so excited for you guys to see the show, whether you are watching it on Box5 or in person. I personally am in love w the music and what we have learned so far, GMG! 💚🦅

In my humble opinion, here’s my top 4 / 5 predictions (depending on area numbers, but I’m not knowledgeable in that department): 1. Wakeland 2. Lone Star 3. Argyle 4. Lebanon Trail 5 (if they send 5). McKinney North

I’d say a few days before last year’s, but I don’t remember when they got released. Maybe later this month or something? IDK.

Finally someone said it, I’m not a fan of most asian based marching shows in Texas because it comes off extremely offensive if done wrong. I’m a fan of the concept of the show, but not having anything related to China in the music or anything just sets off the alarm bells. I hope we’re proven wrong and the show turns out amazing, but I am worried as of right now.

I WAS RIGHT! I had so so much fun, and I got to enjoy the shows, along with see my friends who were performing! The Troopers & Mandies were definitely my favorites to see, but Blue Stars hold a special place in my heart. Overall, I enjoyed my experience, and I can’t wait to do it again sometime!

IM SO EXCITED FOR TMRW! I am going to DCI McKinney and I get to see Blue Stars, Troopers, Mandies, and SCV!!!! I will definitely be a hundred dollars poorer but it’s okayyy 😭

I literally have ranted to anyone and everyone about the Troopers, but I love their show so so much, even if it isn’t the best cleanliness wise. I hope they pull through and I know finals is on the horizon for them! (top 12 for sure as you said)

Hoping in my heart Bloo wins! My favorites so far this season besides Boston & Bloo have been Troopers and Mandies . I can’t wait for DCI McKinney because I get to see them BOTH!!!

I don’t want to call Bloo winning rn because everything seems to be going to perfect for everything to stay the way it is. Bloo at 88 though rn is INSANE! (I love you Troopers please pull through)

i can’t wait to see dci live for the first time! this is the first full season im following, and ill be at dci mckinney this year! im super excited and i cannot wait to see all the shows!!! :)))

I feel like HP’s style of shows is more fit for 5A imo, unless there’s a director change then I see them winning this area.

Confirming that Forney is attending TMC instead of Prosper. I am actually excited for this! I can’t wait to see how they do!

I’ve mentioned this before, but Forney is planning a Grand Nats trip for sometime in the near future. I feel like they’ll do good, and hopefully secure a spot in finals (one could hope, I am hoping).

Forney’s is being revealed at Band Banquet on May 4th, I’ll post it once it gets announced!

I know the directors at Forney talked about going to this contest instead of Prosper. I have no word if they decided for or against it, but I’ll ask eventually.

It is! Also, forney is likely not going to Waco unfortunately. I tried but the schedule was planned for a reason 😭

Forney is possibly considering dropping this competition for Texas Marching Classic. I was told this last week, and I finally got permission to share the information with yall! I don’t know much about the final decision because our director is still deciding.

yep! also I do believe they take 10 to finals, but then again I’m used to 5a area so maybe I’m wrong as well (the blind leading the blind) 😭

Waxahachie coming back is very very nice! I do agree with your predictions, but only time will tell what the programs next year shape out to be. (I will say I did know about the new area two months in advance).

haha yeah! both forney and north forney are now which will leave a lot more competition in my town, and I cannot wait for the return of our rivalry!
